I have said a prayer for you and your husband. My hope and trust is completely in God and it is my prayer that He "evacuate" us before it gets too hairy down here! I want off this "ride"...it's not fun anymore! lol

I wish my husband believed. He is saved and believes in end times prophecy, but doesnt really think it will get bad.

:heartballons: I feel better now. Every now and then I just need a good cry, that's all. I was blessed with a great childhood, just wish my kids could have the same childhood memories and future I have been afforded. That's all. Even if tomorrow isn't the beginning of the end, I just hate it for them because this will all go down in their lifetimes, if not ours as well.

If it weren't for my Faith in Jesus, it would be easy to fall into despair but He is a GREAT comforter!

China isn't saying "no more bonds." They are diversifying away from them. Which they've been saying for a couple years now.

For you mothers, a bit of my perspective. I rarely post but visit often. I too am a mother of two girls 8 and 5 and I just can't let myself fall into worry about what is going to happen. I have prepped some and live in a small town compared to big city life. I do cry some because of the uncertainty and how their childhood's may be so different than my own- it's difficult to imagine them having a harder life and slim pickens. But then there are those moments that I think of them, me, this entire country and I think how spoiled we are and how ungrateful we are or have been to have been blessed with so much and still want more or something different, better, . . . or for my girls' case sometimes the other cup, shirt, color, paper. A part of me is so ready and excited to have this major shock to put people's hearts into seeing the beauty of their lives. For us on here, it won't be that jolting of a shock and I think the best thing we can do for our children is show them how compassionate and strong we can be in adversity. Let them guide us. They have beautiful hearts and minds that are connected in ways so much closer to the divine. It may not seem like it at first, but it will be a blessing to be away from the tv, computers, work and just spend time connecting with each other and the Earth. It's what our mother needs and she'll take care of us.

Stay safe and savor those perks you'll have for the next couple weeks or months. I'm usually tight with money, but I'm going to enjoy some $4 flavored coffees. :)

Breathe and let this new adventure begin.

I feel better now. Every now and then I just need a good cry, that's all. I was blessed with a great childhood, just wish my kids could have the same childhood memories and future I have been afforded. That's all. You are not alone in your feelings about your children! I am raising two little ones on my own and have worked very hard to raise them to love Jesus above all else. Being a mommy right now during these uncertain times pulls on my heart strings because I too want so much for my children. Sometimes I cry but then I remember that what is waiting for us is even BETTER! There is nothing in this life that I can provide for them or that they can accomplish that will even come close to what is waiting for them in heaven.

As odd as it may sound, I find comfort in knowing that something beyond my wildest dreams is waiting for us. As a mother i've prepared mentally and emotionally for the unspeakable that can happen in the near future. If the Lord tarries and we face those unspeakable times rest assured and know that God will be with us every step of the way. And, everything that happens is part of His master plan. While the unspeakable isn't something I like to think about, it's important that we remember to never give up our hope or faith in the Lord, no matter what unspeakable thing we face. God is so good, even during times of trials and tribulations!

Remember, fear is of the devil and what the devil tries to use for evil let God use for His glory. God is so good my friend and He hears every prayer you speak and those that you don't speak. He saves every tear we shed in a bottle and knows all our worries. God will not let us down when times get tough. Stay strong my friend. I will be praying for you....And as GodisWaiting4U said, we are all there sisters, we're not alone in this!!! Amen to that!!

You sound like a friend of mine who believes that if you "manifest" positive thoughts then nothing negative can happen to you. This theory kinda throws out all the prophetic words that have been uttered about the signs we are seeing and the times in which we live.

Some things are destined to be regardless of our wishing they would be otherwise...and so far as I know, my friend is STILL trying to "manifest" that winning lottery ticket. I don't think it's going to happen for all the positive energy she might devote to that effort.

Some things just are what they are, no matter how hard we try to pretend that they are not. I could sit here today and pretend that the economy is sound and avoid thinking about what could be right around the corner but all that does is catch me off-guard when things do not turn out as I had hoped. I'm a realist...what can I say.

I never said the economy is good or great.

And, I will not act like DOOM has already happened.

I'll check back in 15 days or so, and it won't be so bad. It will be the status quo.

My philosophy: I'm prepared. I expect the worse, hope for the best.
