lets put the doom on hold until 4:30 est.... After traiding down all night it looks like the Nikkei was only off slightly.... The HANG SENG had the bigest slide with -351 but they are moving interest rates to slow inflation so I would not read anything into that..

Gold broke 1700... thats AWSOME :) When it breaks 2000 im getting my new boat. :) I can't wait..

The half hour before trading begins will give a good indiator of which way the market will head at open. I think you might see some PPT intervention pre trade open. Their intervention is usually good for a half hour and then the natural market forces take over.

CNN and Bloomberg are NOT real-time ...

They are merely indicators ... and usually very under the real market prices ...
