They actually predicted the return of Quetzalcoatl, but it turned out to be the false Quetzalcoatl (Hernán Cortés). The true Quetzalcoatl is supposedly set return this year or the next.

Because when someone predicts the future it is dependent on current times and what will most likely occur from the direction already taken. None of the perdictions are 100%. WE always have the option of changing the future.
