i have a secluded camp. surrounded by corn fields, cows, chickens, even a couple of horses down the road, 3 streams and miles from any threats but it is booby trapped regardless. i have 3 kids and a wife to protect from loonies. we have been buying 2 cases of water and a gallon jug of water a week for 3 months. we have 8 50 pound bags of rice. 10 cases of ramen. countless cans of long lasting foods, especially SPAM with more of the afformentioned items on the way. water purifier. iodine and iodide tablets. axes, shovels, tarps, ropes, tools, fishing line, machettes, knives, baseball gloves, a football for my sanity....etc. you name it, we probably got it. medical supplies we do not have a lot other than a few basic bandages, neosporin, stitching supplies, pennicilin and some anti-biotics. my wife has been into natural healing with plants since she was a kid as her mother is an organic farmer and a damn good one. i was raised with an american indian. he took me to his tribe on a reservation in canada for years and i unknowingly ate up everything they had to tell me. i lived under the stars for weeks at a a time and learned how to build a leanto quickly, all with little food or water. i was taught how to live off the land and it is still there and now i have the fuel to feed my fire in my kids. i have spent months leading up to now re-training my body to go and go hard off little food. i eat maybe 1 meal a day. i am learning how to get my fuel directly from the sun just in case. as far as transpirtation goes. we have a car but are only interested in going about 15 miles from where we currently live. after that, i will be riding a bike to my destinations in search for more or better supplies at night mostly. i have always been credited with being one sneaky and stealthy little mother fucker. we have people who are willing to team up with us but truthfully, i would feel safer with just me and my immediate family. i appreciate you putting the word out there my friend. some of us are ready. the others will have to scrap and kill for their stuff. lewt them weed each othe rout and then we can make our triumphant return to civilization but once again, truthfully....i might never come back out.
