Wineskins of the Wine of Liberty

"I have a new wine for this season -- a fresh outpouring, a distinct anointing, a new revelation of My Spirit -- that will release you from bondage into liberty. The requirement, however, is that you must become a new and pliable wineskin in My hands in order to partake of and be a vessel from which this new wine pours forth. Refusal to yield will render you a useless vessel, the wine will be spilled in waste, and this revival will have no effect in your life. Choose, rather, to be renewed!

Some of you are cracked and worn from the battles that have wearied you. Come! My anointing will heal, restore, and transform you into a new wineskin. Some of you are crusty and brittle from religious traditions not inspired by My Spirit. Get ready to be challenged, for I will indeed confront your stodgy positions. Be willing to let go of that which is hindering true spiritual life in the flow of My Spirit, and I will make you anew when you allow Me to be in control. And yet others of you are stiff-necked and bound in sin - attitudes, motivations, habits, and mindsets detrimental to your well-being. Allow Me to break this yoke of bondage, so that I might release you into the liberty of righteousness.

New wineskins, come and partake of this wine of liberty! Drink until you are no longer yourself and no longer in control, for I seek a people who will truly lose their self in Me and be My possession with delightful, wholehearted abandonment. Then, and only then, will you watch and be amazed by what I am free to do in your midst.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”
