X-CLASS Flares should only be viewed by adults over the age of 18. Scientists are still searching for the elusive G-Class flares ....

This may sound like a really stupid question so apologies for my ignorance but a strong M flare or above, would that change the weather for a while if it hit earth?

I swear whenever there was one coming in our general direction a few times this year, we would have a really nice hot clear sunny day or two in the UK which they dont predict on the weather channels until a day or 2 before.
