It isn't who they have picked to fill out the commission. It is that the a commission whose proposals are created in secret and can not be ammended or questioned in any way is the antithesis of of a constitution representative republic.

I completely agree, but the moment they added this we all knew what they were attempting to do. We all know they can pass whatever the hell they want. At some point as a collective population we'll get tired of their rules and simply won't follow. That doesn't mean we'll riot or prefer anarchy. It just means that we will simply turn our backs and create our own system of rules as we see appropriate. After all, they need us. We don't need them.

That is the most important point here. We are not represented in this "super congress" therefore they can not make laws that are constitutional. I think this might be a set-up for plan B. If the spending cuts are unconstitutional, they can just go on spending our money. At the rate of $240 billion in 4 days, how long will the $800 bilion last? This "super congress" better get moving fast! They will blow through the $2.4 trillion before they even think about drafting the balanced budget amendment. We have been fucked again.

I've got news for you. We're not represented in Congress either. If anyone thinks that the power shift happens because the Tea Party wins some seats their crazy. That's like the king throwing the peasants some crumbs and saying he fed them.

If people we're serious about "doing something" they'd stop paying all taxes now and force the government to change. They don't have the infrastructure to jail millions of additional people. What's in motion has been in motion for a long time. People need to focus on fresh ideas for a new society and how that will operate.
