The fact the people who created and managed the system chose to do it in such a way that every time the system has to grow (inflate) to account for the additional wealth created by technology and capital investment in the means of production, there is extra momentum added to the verticalization of wealth transfer to the top doesn't really address the real issue, in my mind.
