My sister lives in SLC Utah. She had to call the police to have a drunk abusive boyfriend removed. She had been drinking as well. The cops removed her boyfriend then came back twenty minutes later and attempted to rape her. She screamed at the top of her lungs (too bad for the cops she wasn't as drunk as they thought she was) and attracted neighbors and the attack stopped.

The lady in the video didn't resist arrest, she was walking toward the police car, she just didn't want their hands all over her. She had a right to be annoyed with them.

In the last video...Officer Jeremy Henwood an ex Marine, four years on the police force as killed in an ambush in his car last week. A man who had shot a person earlier in the day and was in a police chase, in excess of 100 mph on the freeway. The police not wanting to risk people lives in the police chase called it off after several minutes. Later that day the suspect walked up to the officers car and shot him in the face twice.

Unprovoked attack, this is why some cops are on the defense. And the reason they take people down with such force is to quickly mitigate the risk. If they struggle for seconds or minutes things can turn sour very quickly.
