Washington's view of isolationism, but if they come at us..they're done You are wrong. Ron Paul is not for isolationism. That is a shill statement. This is the wrong place for you. Too many of us know Ron Paul's positions for you to get away with bullshit. Ron Paul wants us out of the 6 Middle East war fronts. We have no business being there. He wants to shut down the WW2 military bases occupying 135 countries. That has to stop. He thinks we should mind our own business. He is absolutely right. He also believes in trading with the other countries. Again, correct. :RonPaulmrch: as you can see i was corrected above in an earlier post, which i was wrong for using "isolationism" instead of "non-interventionalist" how is it being a shill when i was trying to say what you just did? I don't try to read your mind. If you don't say what you mean, don't expect anyone to respond to what you meant. You said, isolationism. That marks you as a shill who knows nothing about Ron Paul. If you corrected yourself later, then good. thanks for clearing that up for me, ill be able to sleep tonight now... |

He has good things to say but comes accross really feeble. I like Cain better. Bachman is a tard. She just needs to go away, far. Yes Ron Paul kicks ass. He does it with his brain, which is the best brain in Washington DC, and the best brain on stage tonight. He is not feeble. Age isn't what you think it is. On the Real Age Factor scale, he's at about 50. We can't afford a rookie in the White House. We need the experience and brilliant mind of Ron Paul. I love what Ron Paul says, and I've donated to him, however, he does seem feeble, sorry, and while his words are strong, the American Public is looking for Samuel L. Jackson and he is projecting the retired district. He needs to be 20 years younger, otherwise, it is not happening, as much as we want it to. Nobody is expecting Ron to win, even though he's the most qualified. He's injecting REAL ISSUES into these debates, which is priceless. It's setting Rand up for 2016, at which point, Ron can be Treasury Secretary or VP, or something else big and badass. Actually, tens of millions of us expect Ron Paul to win. That will happen because we are going to vote for the brightest candidate, Ron Paul. We need Ron Paul now. He is the only candidate who can actually take over the reins of this country, and right the ship. I want the candidate elected who knows the most about the economy, the FRB, foreign policy, and how the government really works. I want the candidate known for truth. I want the candidate who is respected by all of Washington DC and the FRB. THere is only one candidate who fits the requirements of the job in these critical times. RON PAUL No rookies need apply, and that is what all of the others are. He doesn't need to be younger. You do not understand what age is. It isn't a number. He is great as he is. So, if you want it to happen as you say you do, vote Ron Paul. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1497106 United States 08/11/2011 11:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This debate was nothing more than a hit piece on Ron Paul. Fox News' last effort to bring down Paul right before the straw poll. I new this crap was coming and with the way the questions were setup there wasn't much he could do about it. Giving him all the wedge issue type questions while giving the others more serious economic, debt, budget questions when we all know this is Paul's bread and butter. If anyone can't see this was a blatant hit piece on Paul their blind as a bat. Lets just hope Paul can get his ground game together come Saturday. I'm dying to see fox news Snit their pants after he wins.. |

But I agree with others, he comes off weak. It's unfortunate that it's taken 30 years for him to get the support he deserves. Newt gave very strong answers and was setup to do so while simultaneously being continually blasted about how unelectable he was. In the end I don't know Newt's TRUE voting record. They can easily control this thing to their intended outcome I think. If only 10% of those who watched the debate votes, Faux news and all the other faux news have no audience.
