Actually, tens of millions of us expect Ron Paul to win. That will happen because we are going to vote for the brightest candidate, Ron Paul.

We need Ron Paul now. He is the only candidate who can actually take over the reins of this country, and right the ship.
I want the candidate elected who knows the most about the economy, the FRB, foreign policy, and how the government really works. I want the candidate known for truth. I want the candidate who is respected by all of Washington DC and the FRB.
THere is only one candidate who fits the requirements of the job in these critical times. RON PAUL

This debate was nothing more than a hit piece on Ron Paul. Fox News' last effort to bring down Paul right before the straw poll. I new this crap was coming and with the way the questions were setup there wasn't much he could do about it. Giving him all the wedge issue type questions while giving the others more serious economic, debt, budget questions when we all know this is Paul's bread and butter. If anyone can't see this was a blatant hit piece on Paul their blind as a bat. Lets just hope Paul can get his ground game together come Saturday. I'm dying to see fox news Snit their pants after he wins..

Ron paul with a commanding lead, doubling up the next opponent

I know this sounds crazy but I came away really digging newt and Ron Paul. Well liking Ron Paul is a give in. But newt was superb tonight.

Would it be weird to suggest a ron/newt ticket??

Frankly, I'm not lit up over any of em....

Romney comes off as very smooth...like Slick Willy smooth...

Newt is sharp and can handle himself, but he's another old Boys network greasy insider power type. He's going to suffer from people acceptance problems.

Pawlenty comes off like a pussy and tonight he looked like a bully beating up a gurl with Bachman.

Bachman looked a deer in the headlights way too many times and one huge acceptance factor concerning women is that when they fight back?...they come off like bitches...it's a very hard balance to strike and appear strong and forceful and not a whinning bitch, not trying to be sexist, but it's the truth.

The rest of em aren't even worth mentioning.

I dunno maybe this Perry guy will step up...but he's got immigration baggage so we'll see about him.


I do know this...if the Republican party doesn't have anyone with their shit wired tight who can inspire people more than I saw tominght out in front real soon?...then we're done...and it'll be 4 more years of Obama and if that happens?....we ain't seen nothing yet if you think things are bad now...

My take:

Ron Paul's answers were crushing bombs of awesome. But I agree with others, he comes off weak. It's unfortunate that it's taken 30 years for him to get the support he deserves.

Newt gave very strong answers and was setup to do so while simultaneously being continually blasted about how unelectable he was. In the end I don't know Newt's TRUE voting record. I know pauls

Did fox news clear the poll? I went to see what RP was at and they're at about 2k votes total (with RP at 61% lol) All of a sudden newt is in there at 16%

on the RP forum, folks are saying they aren't being allowed to vote for Paul, seems when you put in the code numbers, it flips back and says you entered the wrong numbers.

They can easily control this thing to their intended outcome I think.


If only 10% of those who watched the debate votes, Faux news and all the other faux news have no audience. Seems to me, these debates need to be conducted by someone who actually has an audience for a more accurate indicator of what the american public might actually consider as a candidate.
