I knew when i heard that widow on the news (i was listening to CNN in the car) she doesn't sincere and then when i saw her on tv that confiirmed my suspicions. She wasnt really crying and upset. that's fine if you look up to the guy, but it is still foolish to trust anyone that has worked in military intelligence. their jobs are to obfuscate, confuse, and distract. being "retired" or "former" and playing the whole character of going up against the corrupt system they were once a part of.

there is so much of this controlled opposition "what really happened" crap floating around. wild goose chases that support core lies that this event even took place.

The current top SEAL team is called DEVGRU. Team 6 was disbanded for reasons you will never see discussed. It wasn't until this past year that they began changing everything on the Internet to make it look like DEVGRU was team 6. Before that, if you even mentioned the existence of a team 6 on the SEAL forum, you'd be immediately shut down.

So, they used a nonexistent SEAL team to kill a nonexistent terrorist and then killed off the nonexistent SEALs - no OBL body - no SEAL bodies.

True technically ST6 nolonger exists, but it amounts to nothing more than a name change. In military circles, whenever someone talks about Seal Team 6, they know you are talking about DEVGRU.

All true, my only point was that no matter what you call them, or what really happened, there are still several dead sailors, airmen, and soldiers. And thats tragic. By the way we need civilians to care and ask questions more often, in my opinion.

Left over stingers fro mthe previous afhgan war would do the job properly in destroying those helos.

As a former Infantry officer I can tell you that it was a poorly planned and executed op.

First they should have gone in on multiple Black Hawks and inserted the troops in seperate location.

Then, once assessing the situation, converged to relieve the encircled forces. Further, some troops should have been held back in reserve and the helos should have been used to provide air support and later for extraction.

I have commanded combined arms teams before.

By the way, I wouldn't want a CIA agent commanding the OP.

Oh mainly I like nothing about the CIA. There have been so many books about CIA black ops that it does make one think.

I like LJ but I don't know him or love him. What I do like is his forum and he did write a thoughtful article and it was worth reading to me. Also I like more than anything reading the comment sections.
