Ps: When's the last time you played in a pile of leaves?
Fall is just around he corner so don't miss the opportunity.
Quoting: Butt Ugly Toad I can definitely see the NAI in this one. Love it....
I have written a couple poems about nature myself.
Oh my gosh, I don't know when's the last time I played in a pile of leaves.
I'm bad, aren't I... lol
Quoting: Cherokee Soul I can find God easier in a pile of leaves, than in
most any church.
That's one of the things I've enjoyed, with living in the wild this past year. The little animals have entertained me, from Little Larry the Lizard, to Tailless Larry the Lizard, to New Tail Larry the Lizard, to Big Larry the Lizard, then all the wood rats I feed at night, which I also give them coffee heavily laced with sweetened creamer (sugar), which sends them into overdrive and they run around bumping into each other, hopping several feet in the air, then scurrying off to run into another one.
And the ground squirrels are so funny to watch them stuffing their cheeks with french fries, to run off and bury them for a rainy day and when two boys bump into one another, they haunch their backs just like two boy cats dew when one evades the other's territory.
I have one mother wood rat, who just had babies a couple of weeks ago, and a couple of nights ago I caught her bringing me something to eat. She came into my tent, which I wondered which one it was (I feed 20+ wood rats) so I turned on my flashlight, saw her put the food down, then come over to me and put her front feet up on my arm, as if to say "that's for you" then she went back to the food bowl, got her something, and off she went to eat it in peace. She moved casually, so I didn't scare her, she was mother'n me and I've been finding food in my tent in the mornings, wondering who was putting it there. Now I kNow!
Isn't nature wonderful!
