but being that blacks only comprise 12.6% of the american population while white make up 72.4%, there is a substantially larger percentage of blacks on welfare compared to whites.

In our societies, when a employer can choose between Caucasians or non Caucasians when given equal quality of diploma's, experience for the job and so on, Caucasians most of the time get the job before the non Caucasian.

And his point can still be that even if we remove all blacks from our societies, we still have high unemployment figures. That something about making this a black thing, or saying nobody deserves help when not working is not realistic or fair. Especially when so much money is wasted on killing other poor non Caucasians in foreign countries.

It's why crime statistics aren't very accurate also.

When the government writes a check to a welfare recipient it's money out the door, simple as that. Whites are receiving the largest percentage of our tax dollars as welfare support. The fact that they make up a much larger percentage of the total population has nothing to do with what it's costing us tax payers. Money is still money. The only reason to highlight the difference in white/black population percentage breakdown is to somehow imply that there is something inherently wrong with blacks as opposed to whites when it comes to their over representation on the welfare rolls based on their total population numbers. The real intent in these type statements is to paint the entire black population as lazy and looking for a hand out, while painting whites as hard workers and the welfare whites as people who are in legitimate need of help.
The next question would be why this is so and what can we do about it. Every problem seeks a solution and if we are who we say we are as a country, it's incumbent upon us to try to find one. Getting the white/black welfare numbers to match their overall population percentage numbers would at least avoid us having this “over representation” argument.
Whites had a 300 year head start in pursuing and realizing the American dream, while blacks were systematically kept out of every sector of American society for far too long. It ruined lives, dreams and souls. For blacks to have always supported their country, fought and died in wars going back to the revolution, withstood the incessant barrage of oppressive government and private sector policies, lived thru terrorism from organized hate groups, endured a concerted effort to deny basic education (at one time even punished or killed if found reading a book), is testament to their undying strength and faith in God. It should be clear to any reasonably intelligent human that this type of devastating legacy cannot be rectified with 40 years of half baked hand outs and programs designed to keep poor people poor and dependant.
If this type of abuse had ended after the civil war we wouldn’t be having this conversation. But it went on for another 100 years. If it had ended in 1965 the situation would at least be much better than it is, but it went on and continues to this day. The oppression is nowhere near what it was in the beginning but it’s still there in varying degrees in housing, education, criminal justice, and employment. Despite all this, black people have made extraordinary gains and successes in American society. But not all black families have been able to fully shake off the legacy of slavery and abuse. It damages your soul, your self esteem, self worth, your hope and optimism, and ends up getting passed on down the line for many of them.
Let’s find ways to get away from the ugliness and bogus studies and propaganda designed to disparage and finds ways to lift up and encourage. We’ll be a much better country for it, as well, you’ll be a much better person for it. You reap what you sow, so let’s sow some good seeds of love and respect.

You FORGOT a BIG ONE:

COLLEGE/STUDENT loans and it is not just the white/black kids, it is also the red, yellow and brown.

So many people on welfare that was not even mentioned. YES, you have to pay it back (well except grants like Pell grants etc), but it is STILL a form of welfare.

This is the part that White people HATE beause this is the point at which the unfair headstart and simultaneous oppression of Blacks due to Slavery,segregation and Jim crow,the war on drugs laws come in to explain the huge income, education and incarceration disparities between Blacks and Whites as well as HIV and the decline in two parent homes.

Whites generally want to stop the conversation at the point of just blaming Blacks and calling them welfare cheats without acknowledging the role Whites have played in the condition of Black Americans.

and here is the point at which a financially impoverished White person will bring up "White Guilt" and how they have extricated themselves from it.

Per capita according to race tells a very different story than the OP spin. So you are more correct.
