You can lose memory only temporarily, all that has been done by you remains in the ethereal plane so it's impossible to lose memory. Temporarily losing it may be due to brain malfunction, but as soon as you die and transcend memory comes back. So I would not worry.

The first death is when the mind separates from the body.
The second death is when the two halves of the mind also separate from one another.

One half, the soul, or unconscious, holds and stores all the memories and emotions. The other half, the spirit, or conscious mind, holds the intelligence and free will, but not the memory.

Once these two split apart, the spirit loses its memories, but because it retains its free will, it goes on to initiate new experiences, i.e., reincarnating.

Meanwhile, the soul retains all the memories and emotions, but no intelligence or free will. It is trapped in its old memories and emotions, and its afterlife experience explains our cultural reports of ghosts as well as the mindless agonies of hell.

I was practicing Mind Silva Control meditation, it uses a sort of autohypnosis technique, counting numbers DOWN from 100 to 0 when I'm sleepy at night. I used image I liked to protect me and commanded myself to wake up at the count of 1,2,3,4, 5.... I tell you, what I saw, the visions were more powerful and the sharp sound than any mushroom stone trip... yet, once I felt... not really "saw" but merely felt my hand getting out of my hand in a pit darkness. The fact I was AFRAID screwed everything because it was like a key which was closed and I never could achieve the same visions. I could remember dreams, things of lesser importance. Why was that?

Years later I discovered in Hebrew, prophet Isaiah said the real creation was BLACK FIRE (hoshek) while light was just "formed". That's why Genesis said "let there be light" rather than "let's create light". The universe had to cool temperature to allow the proper orbits of the electrons and what we call "light". White light, infrared, ultraviolet was not what Genesis and Isaiah mentioned. Perhaps the vibration wasmore like gamma rays.

So, when I'm dead I had to refuse the tunnel of light and embrace darkness like Odyssey/Ulyses refusing the call of the sirens??????

I have a good question though. What if you have been mind controlled ?? I agree that everything starts in the mind. But if you are under mind control/ mind control technology and especially if you are unaware that you are how can we be held 100% accountable for our actions.

When i see a beautiful woman i can't resist if i imagine there's a reptilian under her skin it turns me off immediately.
Hope this trick works on the sirens too but they use their voice to lure you in not their image, i would imagine it's not their voice but a cd player that plays the sound and that these sirens are reptilians in disguise that should turn me off immediately and put me on high alert and get the hell away from them.

our memories hold all info/education/personality of ourself etc so by losing them is the same as dying.

I found a tv show "the dollhouse" where our owners told us through that the same thing, to erase someone's memories is the same thing as murdering them.

Clearly I am not, if I can remember them (or not remember), then I am the knower or unknower of the memories.

If I follow your logic then I must admit that I die whenever this body is in deep, delta phase dreamless sleep (or even in the dreaming, non-lucid REM phase where I have no memory of myself outside of the dream), and that I literally am resurrected by a bodymind that wakes up? This is quite a new systemized knowledge to behold! I've never considered myself to be my memories. And still don't, but the idea is fun!

you can use fear to your advantage to get the hell out of trouble or become alert and ready to face and defeat trouble.

it's funny how everything gets to keep its memories your dna of your body/container for example but not you, we get to lose our ancient memories/past life experiences etc why is that? the answer is in a solar system under alien occupation where they see everything as their property we can't be good obedient slaves when we know too much.

when your body gets sick is the healthy cells in your bdy job responsibility to cure you by defeating the virus disease you got.
