Earth like Astral Experiences
I'll get to the point.
It started with a completely spontaneous OBE in 1995. More to follow (all spontaneous, I never worked at it) Years of research and reading. Most experiences happen just after the hypno state, and I have lately been able to pinpoint vibrations as I'm drifting off.

Some experiences are what I perceive as "negative"... and I don't know if that is just my mind projecting fear. Anyway that isn't what I wanted to discuss.

Lately, I've been immediately drawn or brought to places that were very earth like in appearances, and for the most part, people there were in human form (although sometimes shifted shapes) Most seemed to have either a neutral attitude toward me (like a passing a stranger on a street) or they took an interest-telling me things I knew at the time were important but now can't remember. Last night I was in a room full of kids-teenagers-it was almost like a party. Most ignored me but a few sat down to talk to me. It was pointed out that I was "asleep" and wouldn't remember much when I woke up (and I didn't) but I retain the sensation of knowing things for a brief time. It was like a game to them.

Another time recently, I was in a convertible driving along a beautiful coastline, or a bridge, over a huge body of water next to a city. The sunshine was illustrious. The ocean shined. I felt a great feeling of peace and didn't want to leave. It was very earth like, but distorted-like on steroids. I remember the conversation being important, but can't remember details. I do know when I find myself in these states, my emotions immediately take over and I begin with a flooding of questions to whatever or whomever is there with me. I know some have been answered, some haven't. Sometimes there are sexual encounters..this is kind of strange to me.

I'd like to know if anyone else out there has these types of experiences and what do they make of them...

Please, I'm not interested in anyone blabbing religious bullshit or raising BS flags and then telling me it's a dream. I'm interested in hearing from people who have been there and what their thoughts are. Thanks.

Take everything you experience on the Astral with a grain of salt, but don't discount anything.

Re: Earth like Astral Experiences
I get it all the time. It's like a place right in between reality and dreaming, but you have control, you travel, but in your head. You keep going and going, seeing things, people, morphing things, until finally, you break out, and it is beautiful beyond anything you can describe. The colors vivid as nothing I've ever seen, lights bright and shining and bouncing colors back at me like some kind of fractal dance.

I think there's a place we are in reality, here, earth, now.

Then there's your dreams, not in control, (well at least for those who cannot lucid dream, which I've done only a couple times in my life and can't for the life of me, get it back).

Then there's this place you go when you meditate, or for me, just relaxing one by one, every part of my body. Consciously focusing on the body parts relaxing, amazes me every time. Because parts of you that you didn't think were stressed and tensed up, prove to be very tense. You let that go. And you watch what's going on in your mind on the back of your eyelids, as if it's a projection of film like in the movie theaters.

But you can sway it, you can think it's more purple, and it slowly becomes that. You can think about more light to illuminate things, and it'll be there. But if you start thinking/dwelling on the negative, like a lot of us do, it sends you into the dream state. No control. If you can keep control and be positive, relaxing, letting love in, etc. you can go to the place you described OP.

It's all very fascinating to me. I look forward to going there every night.

Tell me how you pin point vibrations as you're drifting off. Do you see them, Hear them, or just feel them?

Yes, that would freak me out!!
hf

Lately, everyone I encounter looks very alive and very human. The "world" is vibrant.

Communication is through thought, and I can smell, taste, etc. which I couldn't do before. Most of my experiences for the last 15 years were of me in whatever area of the house I happened to be in, albeit a mist-like version. These earth like visits are brand new. (as is encountering people)

Hmmm... might be some "guides" of yours.. who knows...

Experience of the Astral is a very personal thing in many ways... just "go with the flow" and until they become a problem or you suspect something nefarious, interact with them (why not, I mean... it's fun and trippy and interesting at the very least)

Yes! Thoughts do project to change the landscape. But it is so easy to fall out of control sometimes.

I feel them at first, and that translates to "hearing" them soon thereafter. In the past (when this first started) I would know the state was changing because I could hear what sounded like a far away radio station trying to be tuned in...and far away muffled voices on said station that could never be quite tuned correctly. I believe Munroe called this M noise...
