For those who don't recognize Sun Tzu ... The Military Classic...The Art of War. China is following this strategy to a "T" economically. Strategy (Oriental) is not black and white (Occidental), but it's easier to exploit those trapped in that dual mindset.

"Dems" and "repubs" come in every kind. There are also many people who correctly self-identify as neither. In a way, those last people are most likely the ones that are more aware of who they are.

But many people use the term "I'm an X" just to simplify communication, they don't necessarily buy their party's line, hook line and sinker, nor do they demonize every thought emanating from "Party Y."

It's a false dichotomy, so it's ridiculous to try to judge a person by it.

(many Canadians are guilty of this too, even though we have more than 2 parties, but they still put too much emphasis on team membership. "Which team are you on? Not ours? Oh! You are against us and immoral!").

This is not a team sport, this is the way we govern ourselves. I wish people would take politics more seriously.
