NASA: Global Warming Will Cause Aliens To Attack Us!!! Are they serious?

because this is absolutely ridiculous, I could just see them using project blue beam or some hologram faked alien attack so they could just then tell us that we need to listen to the aliens or they will kill us. The aliens then demand we issue a carbon tax so that the al gore can get paid...

Implicit in this is an acknowledgement of the existence of aliens...

If global warming is man made (I did say if, dont hate), and good live bearing planets are fairly rare.. then we could expect some external power to step in, to save the planet..

notice how they say attack, when clearly what they mean is help us.

The question that occurs to me, and i would assume to any other intelligence is this.......why?.....why would they care either to destroy us....its much easier to let us just continue to destroy ourselves. Why would they care about life on our planet. Any civilization advanced enough to traverse the immensity of space could easily destroy us......why wait? If they wanted us dead....we would already be......Personally....i don't think humanity has any hope of further development....we are corrupt...we are selfish and we will end up destroying all we were blessed with. Our only hope is through the guidance of something much more compassionate and understanding than we ourselves are capable of.....all i can do is hope....all we can do is hope. I believe any being so advanced, so powerful would have earned that right the same way we have. Through suffering and evolution. Considering that...would they not want us to learn the same way....they would not interfere with our development one way or another....simply observe and hope as i do that we find our way...Even facing eradication or enslavement....I write this in hopes that someday we will realize our potential isn't just for survival and material objects....we are each unique. We are each powerful. But we refuse to face the light....our planet has the cabability of being an Eden....every hungry person on this planet could be fed....every person could be clothed and sheltered....every person could have access to the basic essentials to survive.......so then, why do we refuse to feed them. To clothe them. To shelter those born into horrific situations and conditions........there are two answers that come to mind....the first i do not believe...the second is but an illusion that once served to civilize us but now threatens every piece of humanites collective soul.... The first answer i would hate to believe....That humanity is inherently evil and takes pleasure in the suffering of its own kind....and the second is the monetary system. Though some of us are ill....some of us lose our way....i do not believe that any of us could exist solely with evil in our soul....we all have lifeforce...a spark of divinity....something that may prove to be more precious than anything in the universe. Sadly we have allowed tradition to become solidified.....we choose to ignore the suffering instead of assiting them....sure sometimes we throw a bone thier way so we can pretend we care and are not ignoring the basic fact that we can fix the problem if we are willing to sacrifice some of the luxuries we take for granted. Famine, War, and dieseace exist solely because those who have will not help those who don't. The man who would've cured aids years ago may have died of it in south Africa....the women who would've united our planet may have died believing she was saving her family be serving her country in a war that does not need to exist. Humanity only shines through sacrifice....and i hope that all of our small achievements....all our attempts to become more than the some of our parts....are not so easily cast aside by beings that simply wish to save a planet and not the life it has birthed. This was a rant and i do apologize but sometimes...sometimes someone listens...


All in all....i cannot believe that a alien race that would wish to destroy us would not have done so long ago....before we left such a massive footprint....heres hoping that our fear does not lead to our isolation....or our destruction...
