Quoting: ChritRare to see a guns rack in a trucks anymore. I would think that having a rifle in a gun rack could very well be a death sentence by SWAT team in the police state. Very true. People seem to be very touchy today. |

Now where I live a squirt gun will get you suspended. Quoting: DrizztYeah I doubt it. Unless it was like a bebe gun that looked like a real one. At least at my school. Stuff like this happens daily at my school and no one gives a fuck. If kids fight they are given detentions. Jesus Christ. If anyone is over dramatic it is YOU people Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1503359I graduated high school in 2003 and they would arrest kids who got into fights. The parents would press assault charges and everything. The teachers always told us not to hit back and to run away from fights. It was pathetic. |

I don't like the nanny state idea that we should just go to others if there's a problem. It really doesn't solve anything for one thing. I think it just makes it worse, since it's likely gonna come up away from authorities anyway. Besides that, how is one gonna learn to defend themselves if they aren't taught how? Someone won't be there forever, and when they aren't they'll be ill equipped to handle themselves alone. I sometimes wish I fought back in school with what I know now. Granted the one big tormentor back then later got his by someone else, and actually passed away a few years ago but still. Last Edited by ajk on 08/19/2011 09:48 PM No one is perfect. I'd also like to point out that this list gets reposted regularly. Sometimes it's "1972 VS 2010" or "1965 VS 2009", but it's essentially the same list, with the same items. |
