You are full of shit. Stuff like this happens daily at my school and no one gives a fuck. If kids fight they are given detentions. Jesus Christ. If anyone is over dramatic it is YOU people

The teachers always told us not to hit back and to run away from fights. It was pathetic. They tell my daughter the same lame shit. I told her to stand up to bullies and kick their butt if she has too. Let me deal with the problems. She should. I don't like the nanny state idea that we should just go to others if there's a problem. It really doesn't solve anything for one thing. I think it just makes it worse, since it's likely gonna come up away from authorities anyway. Besides that, how is one gonna learn to defend themselves if they aren't taught how? Someone won't be there forever, and when they aren't they'll be ill equipped to handle themselves alone. I sometimes wish I fought back in school with what I know now. Granted the one big tormentor back then later got his by someone else, and actually passed away a few years ago but still. It's the way I grew up, had to stand or fall by myself. Moved every two years or so until high school, so somebody always had something to prove to the new kid. I loved it though, because It made it easy to make friends. Get in a fight one day, friends the next, that was the way it worked. Now you get shot.
