I do not understand your anger simply not clicking on the button will not help on most of these websites because they automatically connect to your secure port 443, which allows additional data to be gleaned from your computer.

The simple fact is they are culling personal information from your computer such as to where you shop what you purchase what sites you have been to and how long you spent there. Some people realize this data is then sold repeatedly to advertisers and who knows whom else and the victims have not been compensated.

When you purchase or look at merchandise that might be personal (not illegal) and embarrassing to you for whatever reason and you end up with e-mails to your workplace hawking similar products with the message that they sell for less than the website you were browsing or purchased.

My anger is at the person who likes to call people "imbeciles" simply for not agreeing with the OP.

Not everyone has their computer security settings set for the most secure internet connections for example most home computers do not network with others yet by default Client for Microsoft Networks is used instead of simply Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

Using NetBIOS (file and printer sharing) can be secure as anything else however, most people do not take the necessary precautions or use a properly set up firewall.

Without going into detail, any information can be taken if you have encountered a site that exploits your computer’s vulnerabilities not to mention files removed or added to your computer.
