You doin't go hiking on the boarder of Iran without knowing how to get there, what it is, and what to do when you cross it.

Ok, folks, listen up:

Boarder-a person, especially a lodger, who is supplied with regular meals.

Border-the line that separates one country, state, province, etc., from another; frontier line: You cannot cross the border without a visa.

Who knows how deep that rabbit hole goes...I doubt they were "just" innocent tourists going for a hike. That would make them the epitome of stupid. I'd almost bet "someone" offered them a bit of something - money - drugs - take your pick - to go for an "innocent" hike to reconnoiter, pick up or drop something in that area. It's likely they were ratted out but since they know next to nothing, they are a political piece of chess to the players of the game.

I think they were wanting to follow the route of Marco Polo. I can see where you could get into that and not figure a country's border should matter. Yes, I feel sorry for them for being so naive. It would be nice if we had the whole world to roam and no longer such things as borders.

No. I don't buy this "hiker" story for one minute. In addition, I grew up in and now live in a jewish neighborhood. I've known many, many Jewish people in my life and I even spent two summers in a Kosher hotel.

Both of these guys look Jewish and nobody in this country who are Americans should be hiking in the super wilderness and mountainous terrain of Iran.

And even if Iran's terrain weren't so inhospitable, Americans should be very leary about being in Iran without a clear identifiable purpose. The U.S. keeps talking about nuking Iran, and Yahoo wants me to believe that two Jewish looking guys just happened to be hiking around the country that we're threatening to nuke?

This story is total garbage.

And if you're wondering, the U.S. isn't the only country sabre rattling against Iran. There's another country named Israel doing the same thing. If you haven't heard, Israel is known as 'The Jewish State.'

If I were a Jewish looking American, I wouldn't be caught dead in that country without a very, very good reason to be there.

I understand that an Iranian Prison rates about two stars below a Mexican prison. I am sure the are not having a relaxing good time.

Yes I would not wish that evil on anyone.

He'll no!! I don't understand feeling sorry for someone privlaged enough to go " hiking" in Iran- I actually believe they may be spies - I'm not saying I'm sure but who the hell goes hiking over there?
