The sun is an organic stargate, so its normal for things to "shoot out of his ass".

Looks fake as hell does, I may be wrong...

Like I said, this was posted on an astronomy forum from a well known member. Not from some kid on youtube. I doubt he would post fake shit. You can read the original post here: [link to www.cloudynights.com]

I'm going to go with the published orbit of Cosmos 1741 being off due to the wrong day. It appears the orbital data was for UTC 04:58:02, Sunday, August 21, 2011 and the sight was 3.5 days earlier. Only way to know is to get the orbital data for the time of the sight...good luck with that.

See, they just updated the orbit data to (UTC): 11:57:10, Sunday, August 21, 2011 and now the pass on the 17th doesn't work again.

You need the orbital data for late on the 17th....

Oh, that would explain it.
It is precisely because it is fashionable for Americans to know no science, even though they may be well educated otherwise, that they so easily fall prey to nonsense. They thus become part of the armies of the night, the purveyors of nitwittery, the retailers of intellectual junk food, the feeders on mental cardboard, for their ignorance keeps them from distinguishing nectar from sewage. — Isaac Asimov

Re: Strange object "shooting out" of the Sun
This guy was doing some solar imaging and captured what appears to be an object "shooting out" of the Sun. I wonder what it could be?

...or Niburu?

It's most likely the Cosmos 1741 rocket.

It's not near the Sun. It only appears to be. The ISS has been photographed many times crossing the Sun.

Stereo A can help to find out if it is close to the Sun.

Here is the link to the position of the Earth, Sun and the 2 Stereo Satellites (put in the date and time. Time is 18.55 UTC)

[link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov]

Here is a pic from that day that Stereo A took. You can see the "thingy" on the right: (Update: I was wrong. That thing on the right is not moving, likely some smear/noise. The only object that it could be is the little dot on the upper left.)

Re: Strange object "shooting out" of the Sun
Iv heard before that the ufos might be able to use the sun wormhole to travel through to the centre of the galaxy and out to other stars or galaxies. This is because the sun gets its main source of energy from the centre of the galaxy. Where the galactic centre gets its energy from? I don't know... yet. I think its quite possible if its a ship of some sort.
 Quoting: PoachedTomatoes

I agree, the first year of (Vatican owned) SOHO recorded shapes whizzing in and out of the sun. Many were the size of Earth and larger. Dozens of Jupiter sized shapes had been recorded in close orbit about the sun. They were explained away as solar radiation, later software programs masked anything of that sort from appearing in front of unauthorized eyes. Some Physicists including Stephen Hawking have theorized that a black hole or strong enough gravity well could facilitate a worm hole to another galaxy or even another time. Given the incredible age of the universe even unlikely things have already happened somewhere.
