I can understand, it can be a safety treat. And You do see clearly, the children do not act respectfull to the people officers, they do ignore the order. The children want to play the big ones, well they are treated like big ones. It is logic sense, they did put the children in police custody. Nothing to blame to those police officers. All the Best, VVizz of Ur The "peaceful anarchism" of Brussels architecture may well be the feature that best characterizes Belgium as a whole. During its history of over 2000 years, the region has almost continuously been occupied by foreign powers: from the Romans to the Spanish, the Austrians, the French, the Dutch and the Germans. This has made the Belgians critical of any form of authority, and laws, rules and regulations are not taken very seriously (tax evasion is one of the national sports). This individualistic, anti-authoritarian attitude is perhaps best exemplified by the famous literary figure of Thyl Uilenspiegel, who mocked the Spanish authorities during the 16th century occupation. |

This individualistic, anti-authoritarian attitude is perhaps best exemplified by the famous literary figure of Thyl Uilenspiegel, who mocked the Spanish authorities during the 16th century occupation. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1514285 First, in regards of Thyl Uilenspiegel. If You would understand the meaning of those thales, You wouldn't use it in this way. It is more as a regular story. My country, my region Flanders does have history as far as the Roman Empire, even before. Your country is created arround 1783, and most of them were those who were kicked out of Europe, with some exceptions. They did took the lands of the native population as occupiers and You made it legal in the eyes of the world. From 1783 until this time, the most important social action was to abandon the slavery system. The second important step, to deliver everyone in America a decent health care system, does receive a lot of opposition in the name of 'freedom'. But a lot of families can't even pay medical treatement if start to get really sick. We do pay a lot of taxes, that's true. But when people need to go to the hospital, they are not broken. As they are old, they can live in a decent manner. And when they can not pay the bills, they are protected. In your country, they kick people, including children, on the streets and they need to live unther the bridge. Of course there is tax invasion, but when You look to the social treatement of those in need, like old people, people who need medical treatement, for sure, my country Belgium, is much, much better as the United States of America. As the educational system. Everyone in Belgium can go to the University. Governments pays for this. In the USA, You need a big bank account. My country is great. And I am pretty proud on the social system, they did etablish so far. It should be a model for the world. All the Best, VVizz of Ur |

Our police in Belgium is not corrupt, and they may not use tasers. And if they do make a mistake, they can be corrected by several means by the people. Our judical system is not perfect either, but everyone can afford to go to the court. When someone can not afford it, my country does assign a lawyer for free, and the case if free of charge. Most of the time, the judgments of our judges are reasonable and do make sense. Actually You don't known what You are talking about. All the Best, VVIzz of Ur |
