What if you woke up today, with only the things you thanked God for yesterday... | |

I thank God each time I eat and ask that He remembers me/us when the food famine comes (expecting that any time). I thank God for my help mate who is a good cook. I thank God daily for a hot shower, millions in other countries do not have this amazing luxury. I thank God for my drinking water, it is mine, not city water or such. I thank God for my modest but adequate shelter, my job, and my motor vehicle, I pretty much do this daily as I see many who no longer enjoy these luxuries in their own lives. I ask for wisdom (some day it should arrive), and I thank God that He came to visit us as our High Priest and Redeemer reaching down to us in the form of the God/Man, Jesus (Yeshua). Other than that, I can't think of what I missed. |

The last one sounds crazy but without the bad you can never fully appreciate the good. This has been our routine for several years now. "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me" Phillipians 4:13 "I shall call upon the name of the Lord who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies" Psalm 18:2-4 "In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God." Psalm 62:6-8 "He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30 |

I had to LOL when I began to think about how much i've been praying lately, not just at night. I have two kids, 3 and 6 and lately i've been doing a lot of praying with tears in my eyes for patience, wisdom and strength as I deal with their sibling rivalry. I always feel so relieved and better within seconds of calling on God to lift the burden and help carry the weight I have as a single mother. Anyway, as a result I pray MANY times during the day! LOL But as a side note, God is SO good, even when we travel down the bumpy roads on our journey through life I am blessed!!!
