Lincoln was part of the elite bloodline, check for yourself. He was assassinated for stepping over his bounds just as Kennedy was. Pissing off the "family" has dire consequences.

If you will research it, you will find he was in a lethal struggle with the bankers that wanted to put the U.S. into financial bondage. He was trying to stand up to them. That is why he was killed. Seriously.

He was shot over "greenbacks" - pissed off the European bankers because he refused to pay interest on loans to finance the civil war. A century later, Kennedy was shot for the same reason over his silver certificates.

Sure, I used to admire Lincoln too. I was brainwashed like most kids to think of Lincoln as some kind of saint

Then I got older and that's when I read how he :

And then, as the war ground on, he issued orders to use extreme cruelty to suppress southerners...not just miltary, but ordinary men, women, old people

He ordered generals to issue edicts naming all women in a seized city as prostitutes, which then was a license to rape them

He inflicted more cruelty, more misery on Americans than the Allies did on Nazi Germany or Japan after they won the war

I was born in the North, but I don't blame southerners for not trusting the federal government.

The north has never known defeat or invasion on their soil, while the south was deliberately destroyed, looted, humliated and crushed to serve some purpose which still isn't clear

Most other countries, for example Brazil, freed their slaves without a shot ever being fired...so why the devastation of the south?

Never mind the irony that Lincoln didn't even seem to like black people. He wrote so much in his diary and had he survived he planned to ship freed blacks out of the country and to Panama to build the canal:

"...Lincoln was also a lifelong advocate of "colonization" or shipping all black people to Africa, Central America, Haiti--anywhere but here. "I cannot make it better known than it already is," he stated in a Dec. 1, 1862, Message to Congress, "that I strongly favor colonization." To Lincoln, blacks could be "equal," but not in the United States."

I'm sure that anyone criticizing saint Lincoln ends up on a list, and that probably includes me, but what the fuck...truth is truth, and if any other US president had arrested half a state legislature, threatened to arrest a Supreme Court judge for disagreeing him, people would think of him as some kind of dictator

The states were leaving the union starting war before he ever took office. The foreign powers do not have a right to come in and take over, which is what happened as the pope had recognized the south that was to join mexico.
