A Metaphor Wrapped in a Fable
"Hello there," said the frog from the ocean.

"Hello there, brother," said the frog from the well. "Welcome to my well. And where, may I ask, are you from?"

"From the Great Ocean," answered the ocean frog.

"I've never heard of that place," said the frog from the well. "But I'm sure you must be thrilled to see my magnificent home. Is your ocean even a quarter this big?"

"Oh, it's bigger than that," said the ocean frog.

"Half as big, then?" asked the well frog.

"No, bigger still."

The well frog could barely believe his ears. "Is it," he continued skeptically, "as big as my well?"

"Your well would not even be a drop in the Great Ocean," answered the visiting frog.

"That's impossible!" cried the frog from the well. "I'll just have to go back with you and see how big this ocean really is."

After a long journey, they finally arrived. And when the frog from the well saw the immensity of the ocean, he simply couldn't take it in...and his head exploded.

I think it is more a statement about perspective.

When I was 10 years old, riding my bicycle more than 5 blocks away from my house was like crossing the Atlantic is for me today.

GREATER POOP: Are you really serious or what?
MAL-2: Sometimes I take humor seriously. Sometimes I take seriousness humorously. Either way it is irrelevant.

GP: Maybe you are just crazy.
M2: Indeed! But do not reject these teaching as false because I am crazy. The reason that I am crazy is because they are true.

GP: Is Eris true?
M2: Everything is true.
GP: Even false things?
M2: Even false things are true.
GP: How can that be?
M2: I don't know man, I didn't do it.

GP: Why do you deal with so many negatives?
M2: To dissolve them.
GP: Will you develop that point?
M2: No.

GP: Is there an essential meaning behind POEE?
M2: There is a Zen Story about a student who asked a Master to explain the meaning of Buddhism. The Master's reply was "Three pounds of flax."
GP: Is that the answer to my question?
M2: No, of course not. That is just illustrative. The answer to your question is FIVE TONS OF FLAX!
The Devil would never go down to Georgia.

To know that you do not know is highest
To not know but think you know is flawed

Only when one recognizes the fault as a fault
can one be without fault

No one has ever seen a perfect circle, nor a perfectly straight line, yet everyone knows what a circle and a straight line are.
Perceived circles or lines are not exactly circular or straight, and true circles and lines could never be detected since by definition they are sets of infinitely small points.

I disagree, the well frog was accepted in the ocean frogs realm. The well frog never fathomed that he belonged, he was a FROG! If the well frog fathomed that he fit in, he would not have been overwhelmed and exploded, he would still be jumping Lilly pads. Instead of placing a light burden on his shoulders he placed an over bearing burden on his shoulders thus the collapse to death. I have a friend whose motto is:

“My yoke is easy and my burden is light” and yes it is, I am witness to that statement as I live that statement everyday because of God's grace and the promise of Jesus Christ.

God's instructions for living here and how to preserve one's life after here are contained in the Son of Man's philosophy or the Gospel of Jesus Christ......FREE here [link to www.e-sword.net] use the FREE included commentaries. The Good News Bible is an easy start, it is in easy everyday English. In that Book are 4 Books titled; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John...only 120 pages that will save your life and if you so desire a relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will begin.
