Thanks! Mushroom require moisture to grow, so Mars must not be as dry as most people think.

Mushrooms need water for their fruit to "grow". That is why a saucer and a humidity tent is included with Mushroom Kits TM.

Mushrooms have no skin so they can lose water to the atmosphere very easily. That is why they grow in high humidity (lots of water vapor in the air) conditions. If the humidity is too low the cells lose water faster than it can be "pumped" in and the immature mushroom dries up and dies.

this is on a .gov server. analyze this for a second. could it be there because they want you to see it and make the connection that life exists there? why?

hematite isn't life its a mineral,but shows that water was or is still there,anyway they are made from water once being present in that spot.

that looks like a chopped off blooperhead.......and for all the round rocks and such there had to be water and lots of it to smooth off the edges.

That's a hollow, not a lump.
