The thread got me to thinking: the #1 emotion that the posts on GLP produce is fear. Fear is a great "management tool," and I have no doubt that there are those who wield it with skill.

what they want is to make the et's that are coming here look like the bad guys.

Because God is Holy, Just, and Righteous, God must, and He will, punish all sin. You will perish.
But there is Good News. God provided a way for you to escape His wrath and be forgiven of all sin. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ in the form of man (God manifest in the flesh), to shed His blood and die for your sins on a cross for you. He took the wrath of God that you deserve, and shed His blood for the remission of your sins, for it is written "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins". It's also written "without the shedding of blood there is no remission". His blood washes away all your sins. He died, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day. "He has risen!" Repent(turn from unbelief), and believe the Gospel, "that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.". God commands that you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. So today, believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you should not perish, but have everlasting life.
