MEDITATION AND MARIJUANA.........QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO MEDITATE

Yes it certainly helps me with meditation. I found that if you smoke it everyday, it kinda looses its effect from a spiritual view, but if you only toke up then meditate a few times a week it really does help.

Ask any (real) rastafarian and they will tell you that they smoke the herb before engaging in biblical readings

It's a distraction, true meditation is easier without drugs.

If you just want to daydream then it helps, but that's not meditation.

What's even more interesting is buddhist monks taking LSD and meditating to NEGATE the effects, to have supreme control over your physical, mental, and spiritual being.

One things for sure OP if you intend on trying it for yourself make sure you don't smoke unnatural or hydroponic marijuana sprayed with pesticides, etc.. Would definitely ruin the meditation process

If your trying to open the third eye or crown chakra you don't need pot. It can help but you're better off taking good fish oils like skate liver oil or cod liver oil and squeeze some limes in some clean distilled water daily. Helps to decalcify the pineal gland.

Using meditation music with headphones can help especially if you're a noobie.

Pure indica may help you deepen trance. But I only smoke sativa, and it's a disaster for your concentration. So I find it much easier to meditate completely sober.

Sorry to be a part pooper, but drugs open that door to demonic side of spirituality. I've already been down that road, & you don't have to believe me if you dont want to, I'm sure you'll find out yourself soon enough, it doesn't make you closer to GOD Almighty, but you will find yourself meeting some demons (watch out even Lucifer can show himself as an Angel of Light, dont be deceived).

I understand what your saying but I don't consider it a "drug" in the way you are referring. I mean it's an herb which God put here. In the bible when they talk about sobriety I have always taken it that they meant alcohol. It speaks a lot about "Drunkards" but nowhere does it mention not smoking marijuana. Just my opinion, thx for your input

I've meditated on both, Mary helps you lower your brain frequency to that level of the earth where you can feel the vibrations, its good when your starting out.

LSD just drops you all the way down so deep you feel oneness with the universe and everything.

Dropped my last two on an 8 hour flight and some trip that was ....I meditated the entire trip so I wouldnt freak out!!

Recently I have been doing it without, you can reach the same level you do on LSD by heavy breathing, you first start feeling the tingling in your hands and continue deep breathing and soon you will feel the earths resonance overtake your entire body.

The Native American might recommend Peyote for a more spiritual experience........what do you think about that?

Understandable, after I had my experience I also struggled with wondering if weed was a drug or not. I kept telling myself God put it here, God made it, so whats so bad about it? You just have to think about, God didnt put that plant here for us to SMOKE IT, he put it here for us to use it for other purposes, there is a good & bad for everything, God expects us to use it for the good. Its like eating psylo shrooms, the first form of acid, I'm pretty sure God doesnt want us doing that either. God says to stay sober friend, I think its pretty obvious what this means, marijuana is a psychedelic, a mind altering drug, shrooms are a mind altering drug, if you're high, you're not sober.. Its just a fact.. Like I said, you dont have to believe me that it opens the door to the demonic side of spirituality, if you keep seeking the Truth I'm sure God will reveal it to you.. The guy is absolutely right. I have exactly the same opinion. It's like riding a bike while standing on it. It looks cool, but this is an artificial challenge which makes the actual riding more difficult.

Thank you, I appreciate your concern. I don't want to jump into anything that would open doors to evil or demonic entities which is why I am asking the question.

Thats what I was wondering, if it would help me get into a meditative state or would it keep my brain from getting to a deep, real meditative state.

Imagine my disappointment, and sorrow;(and outright anger) when I leaned that we were there to protect the Drug trade........and that it had NOTHING to do with trying to stop Communism, as we were told!

OP, drugs only bring you into the fourth dimension......and that is where all the tricksters are! So I would avoid them, if I were you!

There is no greater High, than being "High on the Spirit"! imho
