My guess would be that radiation particles are clinging to dust particles and what not in the air. The same dust particles could also be mixed with something that has a water vaule to it and the radar wont discriminate between water droplets (rain) and other sources of water particles (ex. snow, hail ect ect), does that make any sense? The big blobs are where the dopler radars are located and are gonna read the most corectly. The moving lines are corrolating to the air movement (cold front). Ive seen radar ground clutter many times, but never exhibiting the strange lines.

Humidity values are ranging from 10-50 across the region. Thats fairly comfortable. Definitely not southeastern US humidity levels.

Doppler radar locations....happens when it's really humid!

wow i dont see any strange lines...
but i do see the upper area of the storm on the top right side disappears completely from the radar.
then it reappears...

no lines...what are you guys talking about?
