Waked-n-Baked User ID: 1517692 United States 08/24/2011 08:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My guess would be that radiation particles are clinging to dust particles and what not in the air. The same dust particles could also be mixed with something that has a water vaule to it and the radar wont discriminate between water droplets (rain) and other sources of water particles (ex. snow, hail ect ect), does that make any sense? The big blobs are where the dopler radars are located and are gonna read the most corectly. The moving lines are corrolating to the air movement (cold front). Ive seen radar ground clutter many times, but never exhibiting the strange lines. |
