The horrible problem with the Pagan dogs being in Summerland with them is that there is no such thing as Summerland. It is just a myth and deception and it doesn't exist. The dog as I posted above, could well be responding to the presence of his owners soul. Animals KNOW much more than given credit for. They even know they reincarnate, did you ones know that???? and they recognize previous folks they have lived with. I kept a kitten once because SHE remembered me and when I had an experience that showed which one she had been before in my life, she had been in my life more than 30 years before. Enough for a couple or more lifetimes in between for her.

You think it shows weakness, many think it shows strength. They are not blinded by thier country's decisions, but they often have a love of thier country so strong it over rules what they would personally prefer to do. That is strength of character, not weakness.. That is what makes war so tragic. Such men would be perfect role models for others in times of peace. Thier strength of character is what we look for in a good polititian and rarely find.

My 21 year old cat, Missy, passed away last May. I swear, I've seen her at dinnertime, waiting for her bite of cheese! My other cats seem to sense that she is still here too. We are not really separated by much that love cannot bridge.

You cannot make that statement, having not known the person and what his purpose may or may not have been. Some very young souls have little purpose or knowing yet. Others have a great deal of wisdom accumulated.

You can judge behavior but not the intent of the soul. There are souls who come here in methods of service that are not always seen. Did you personally know this person? If not, you cannot make a statement about him and his purpose.

YOu can make true statements of the nature that people are conscripted directly and by mind control to serve the thugs of this world in their conquest, that is truth. But you unless you know someone well, how can you have any idea of WHY they did what they did and made such choices?

Everybody does go thru evaluating their life after passing yes, but again, you cannot make that statement, as you did not know his purpose and what lessens he may have needed to learn. There are great souls here who are free souls and they have little to feel remorse about, if any, as they are so advanced in their wisdom. In your posting you are suggesting of that soldier that he has great remorse. If you did not know him, you cannot make that statement.

Advanced souls in fact evaluate their choices as they go while still in life, and deal with them as they go, which is a skill many on this planet aren't even aware they should be doing. It is a teaching mostly absent from religion also. Each day some time should be spent evaluating what one is doing or has done. I do that constantly and even come back to edit a post, after thinking about it.

Best friends can die from broken hearts. The pain experienced in loss can be overwhelming(sp?). We as human understand the 'why' and most people work the 'why' through the grief. A dog probably can't.
Or maybe it's like someone said earlier, the dog was just waiting for dinner. (but I don't think that's the case)

Animals are so intelligent and pure... they all make me sad.

I, too am a cat person....I love the purity of animals..they will love me no matter what my political views are, how I may be looking, or what country I live in. God bless all the animals!
