I have posted here because I only want to see justice for a nation invaded by outsiders. I am a nobody really, just someone who wants to see truth and justice. Heady ideals really, but in a world so full of shit, what else is there to aim for?

It would appear then the Libyan people do not want to be liberated. You cannot stand idle and not say anything while blatant aggression is committed upon them. So I am in support of a nation and the people who live there, to determine their own fate, without outside influence.

If what you both say can be absolutely verified to Gadaffi's forces in retreat, not some lame spun half-truth by the MSM, then I will be the first to hang my head in shame for what thay have done. Your point of view is that if the Libyan people defend their country against this western sponsored terrorists it is the Libyans who are the terrorists and the Islamic Jihad extremists who are the liberators and guardians of freedom. You cannot even comprehend how entirely backwards this point of view is.

I will never stop or be intimidated by the trolls and shills. I know that what I am saying here is being closely followed by intelligence agencies as my home internet connection has been under constant attack since I began posting about the situation in Libya. My blog has been flooded with threats and accusations that I am some kind of traitor. Likewise, I have also received many words of support for what I am doing from all over the world.

There is no way I would believe for even a second that the owners & administrators of this forum would be behind these attacks on my internet connection. If they did not want me posting this information, as you said, the threads would have been deleted and I would have been banned long ago. The ONLY possible explanation for pathetically ineffective packet flooding and hacking attacks against my internet connection would be that they are originating from those with access to monitor the entire internet and are intercepting my ip address in order to target me in attempts to hinder my work.

I have never made any sort of threats of any kind on this forum or my blog even though many have tried to bait me into doing so. I am much more intelligent than to do such a thing and am absolutely against violence. I have never made racist remarks towards others yet have had many such irrational insults thrown at me accusing me of being everything from a Islamic terrorist lover, a Nazi, a kike, a traitor, committing treason and more. The African Union’s Peace and Security Council held an emergency meeting in Addis Ababa today and decided not to recognize the Libyan rebel leadership (National Transitional Council) as the legitimate government of Libya.

Instead, the AU has called for an immediate ceasefire and “an all-inclusive transitional government” in Libya that would take in members of Gaddafi’s administration.

This stance is not unexpected. It has long been rearing its head and any astute observer of the Libyan crisis and the clear-cut differences between the AU’s proposals for resolving it and NATO/NTC’s military campaign will not be surprised that it has finally dawned.

Is the African Union using this stance as a protest against the manner in which it was humiliated and sidelined by the proponents of the military campaign? Or is the Union only taking this stance to suggest that it has a clout to influence affairs on the African continent or that it sees itself as a match-maker in this Libyan case?

One fundamental question emerges: What does the AU see wrong about recognizing the NTC that those of its member-countries recognizing the NTC don’t?

Of course, in justifying the AU’s stance, South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma gave some reasons: the African Union would not recognize the NTC as the legitimate government as long as the fighting continues.

“If there is fighting, there is fighting. So we can't stand here and say this is the legitimate [government] now. The process is fluid. That's part of what we inform countries—whether there is an authority to recognize,” Reuters quoted him as saying.

So, the AU’s argument is that for as long as the fighting continues, it is not clear who constitutes the government of Libya worthy of diplomatic recognition. This argument suggests that the AU will be more interested in further monitoring of the situation than rushing to give its blessing to the NTC.

This is a bold decision, which may mean different things to different people. The anti-Gaddafi elements will view the AU’s stance as a confirmation of their apprehensions and suspicions that the AU has been sympathetic to Gaddafi all along and sought to handle the Libyan crisis to favour him. They will view it as an affront to their quest for “liberation from Gaddafi’s 42 years of tyrannical rule” and use it as a trump-card to determine how a post-Gaddafi Libya will relate to the AU.

Whether describable as a “pay-back” or a spiteful but logical conclusion to the AU’s manouevres for conflict-resolution, this decision has far-reaching implications at different levels—for the NTC and its present and future relations with the AU; for the AU itself; for the individual AU member-countries (those that have unilaterally recognized the NTC or those that have refused to do so); and for the entire African continent (especially prospective migrant worker populations).

The decision may not directly affect the interests of the belligerent West and Arab League but may become a point of reference for any future dealings between them and African countries. Knowing the West for its arm-twisting tactics, it can’t be ruled out that some in authority may want to use this AU decision to punish some African countries that approach them for assistance. Most African countries can’t survive without pan-handling and this AU decision may be used against them one day. Who knows?

Whatever the case may be, I think that the AU has every reason to make this decision, especially in view of the disdain with which it has been treated by the West and its military establishment (NATO) as well as the rebel leadership. By dragging the AU through the mud, the rebels and their backers have already closed the door to the AU and prevented it from making any contribution toward resolving the crisis. And it is just a matter-of-course for the AU not to hurriedly recognize a political entity that has violently installed itself in office and disrespected its peace-making efforts. Why, then, should anybody expect the AU to give its blessing to the NTC in this circumstance?

The rebels in Libya have rejected the possibility of staging talks with Muammar Gaddafi. The National Transitional Council says they want to see him in jail - and not at the negotiating table. Middle East expert Dan Glazebrook says NATO is using the rebels to make Libya a failed state.

My letter to congresswoman Cynthia McKinney:

Dear Miss McKinney,
I am a citizen blogger and am currently investigating the horrible situation in Libya. I have read your report on the situation as well as many other accounts of the lies that have led to yet another illegal war. It is very difficult to find truth about the situation on the internet, it is so full of biased media that twists facts to fit the pro-globalist agenda. Currently I am looking into the claims by the media, Amnesty International and others that pro-Gaddafi supporters and perhaps even Gaddafi's son massacred a group of individuals outside Tripoli in the wake of the rebel invasion. There is video circulating which shows many charred bodies which appear to have also been shot. The claim is that pro-Gaddafi forces committed this atrocity yet I am highly suspicious of this. I believe this crime was possibly carried out by the NATO led Islamic Al-Qaeda "rebel" forces and was then "spun" by the media, Amnesty International and other organizations to deflect away from the outright lies told to justify this invasion.

I do not believe the information we are being told about Libya to be true. I have found a great deal of contradictory accounts about the situation in Libya prior to this conflict beginning. I have discovered how our intelligence agencies have concocted yet another lie to sell an illegal war. What troubles me the most is the fact that we are now actively and overtly supporting the "Al-Qaeda" Islamic terrorists which we have all been led to believe are our enemies and have been in a 10 year war against. I have compiled a great deal of information regarding the situation in Libya from many international sources which I believe prove beyond any doubt that this war has been planned long in advance and was based entirely on lies.
