I was a seminary student once and I studied until I almost busted a gut. Fortunately I came upon a passage that went something like "become like a little child." Whew good thing, I tossed the book as well as seminary.
So best to just go fishin, then hope that at death there ain´t some entity, El-Trout, waiting at the gate. |

Sounds pretty good.
This notion has struck me: If life is a party in our living room, and Jesus came knocking on our front door, what would we do? Seriously.
--Would we tell him to come back later when we´re finished partying?
--Would we turn down the music and be very very quiet hoping He´ll leave?
--Or would we INVITE HIM IN AND LISTEN TO HIM knowing THAT would be the end of the party? :)
Tough to give up the toys and the glitter. |

it just solidifies my inner belief of the universe and my souls´ place in it.
*note*
there is no reason to even ask the questions presented, if you listen. forget the concept of religion. spirit and it´s place in the bigger picture, already knows the answer.
the clue: if it doesn´t come from nature, it is not for consumption/use. it is not kind to your bodily vessel, and impedes your souls´ growth.
just think about it.

I think we´re pretty egotistical to think that human conciousness is the pinnacle of intelligence, or that creation is meant for man to be the main benefactor.
How do we know that earth´s systems and animal, vegetable and minerals were designed for man´s benefit and convenience, and that man is the custodian of this planet?
Many people can´t manage even their own lives, let alone take care of a planet.
Maybe mother nature is simply a system controller and man is just part of the system, just another animal on the farm, which in turn benefits a higher intelligence or entity. |
