Hay Gang I read that TG I think was planing on storing gas for her generators. I did the same thing last fall for my in laws generators. I bought enough gas to run the generators for a month at 50%. Thankfully we did not need to use them, how ever, This spring I tried to use the stored gas in the lawn mower and garden tractor, they would not run on the stored gas, and I did put a fuel extender in the gas. Come to find out, Gas with ethanol has a max life of 3 months, wit loss of power at 1.5 months. This fall I am trying to find gas with no ethanol to store for the generators. By and By Thank you TG for the videos from You Tube. I copied them to DV. I realised You don't have to sign up for You Tube to view their Videos. I Had never tried to look. Spent near 3 hours hunting video of thing I am interested in. Never too old to learn, if you have an open mind. Blessings Drendwire

Hi everyone, well today I dropped my stuff off at moms sale and stayed a half hour. Sold two things while I was there. I will find out tomorrow afternoon how I did. Hi TG, as usual, I didn't make myself clear. LOL. They weren't new toys, they were toys from his toy box. He kept bringing them to me so I'd throw them for him to bring them back. He could play fetch all day.

Trying to teach him to put his toys back in the evening. He's doing good at it, but then he wants to get them out again. He brings me one and if I don't throw it, he gets another one. Like he figures soon enough he'll find one I like well enough to toss for him. LOL. He was just full of energy so we went out and chased his glow ball around in the dark. He had a great time and used up some energy.

Have you tried the Kong toys? They're real durable and last. Pupster is really good about not destroying his fuzzies. that's the lamb (lammy), squirrel, coon, and a few others. The only one he ripped was a hedgehog. The AKC toys and kong toys are built real well. There's a couple other brands too, but I'm not about to go foraging through the box now to find which ones, or he'll be here in a second flat wanting to play.

Thank you TB for the cookie recipe. That looks like a real keeper. Do you use a confectioners sugar frosting, boiled frosting, or...? Can't wait to try them.

Thank you Flavapor for the cranberry sauce recipe. I tried it just now. LOL. It was great. I modified your recipe so maybe I shouldn't tell you. I think it was either Drendwire or Old Guard who mentioned on your recipe thread that they always follow the directions. The way they said it made me think they were doing it out of respect for the recipe giver.
It was really nice.

That said, I always play with things, and meant no disrespect to you or your recipe, but just felt like doing it. I boiled the cranberries til they popped, added the sugar, apples, marmalade, but didn't add the lemon juice. Ate a dish and it was wonderful. Came to see if anyone had posted, and as soon as I saw your name, I thought, raspberries! I forgot them. So, I hurried back out, added fresh ones instead of the frozen as suggested, and it was out of this world delicious. Ate another bowl and am trying to not think about it anymore. It is very, very good!

I bet it goes well with anything. Turkey, ham, beef, or even sandwiches. It's a lot different than a lot of sauces that only go well with one or two things. That recipe is a keeper. Thanks again.

i'll check out the kong toys. where do you get them? sadie needs indestructable toys. those labs are good at tearing up stuff, for real.

i think i have at least one mouse in my room. i detest killing them, but it's waking me up at night. mom won't let me get a trap that contains and not kills. she wants me to put out some decon. i'm really upset about what to do. i feed the mice outside, but won't feed the ones inside for sure. i feed the outside ones so they won't tear up the barn. last year we had no trouble.

I told you it was great!! Try it on an english muffin or toast, to die for!! I like to make and freeze it cause you cant get cranberries after the holidays. Do me a favor and post a review on my dinner thread.

He brings you his water dish? What a smartie!!! All ours does is brings me his rawhides, like he wants me to throw them for him. Then he wants me to chase him to take it away! Lately, he won't let me catch him! He loves the cold, too!

I had the same problem with rascal, a dog I had a few years back. He was so big, the cats didn't understand he just wanted to play.....most of the time! I had to chase him with the broom a few times and then he understood they weren't a snack! I lost rascal and dusty to that damned chinese dog food just before they told us about it. I miss my 2 big guys.

I thought about suing after they came out about the food, but they died so fast I couldn't get them to the vets. Hubs had just pcs'd to Kirtland and I had to call the county and whine a little for them to bury them in the city pet yard. I didn't even know they had a place like that. Once I told them I was by myself and why, they were great about it. The commissioner came out and everything.

You know, when daughter went to OU to study meteorlogy, she had profs that said weather modification wasn't even possible. I kept telling her it was and the argument was on, until a couple of years later, a dept. head told her class that it was and was being done. Guess mom's not too dumb without the degree, huh?!
