Sounds like a whole lot of stress, Flavapor. I'm sorry you're dealing with it.

All of us can be forgetful at times. It would be easy to run a bath, forget and let it overflow. 8( Hopefully, that's all it is.

As far as not wanting to have someone in, maybe she meant while she was there.

Hoping it's a temporary stress and not a long term problem. It's hard to know what to do, if anything, and when to do it when you're in that position. You'll be in my thoughts.

I can only hope its stress but... today she called me on the way home from GA and asked me which road she needed to take. She goes up there every few months and has never had that problem before.

Then, my kid calls me and tells me that the reason the house was so hot was because the gas fireplace was on. Apparently it was on low and the thing goes on and off as it reaches temp. Anyway she was spraying bug spray and saw the flame, ever so low under the logs, so she turned it off.

My mom was there for a month, and it could have been on that entire time for all I know. She kept saying it was so hot there and she couldnt figure out how to work the thermostat, which is a basic arrow up or arrow down hot or cold type thermostat. Instead of asking the neighbor, who would have come over and done it, she suffered the entire month till my kid got there and turned it on.

I am not sure what to do, if I confront her about getting checked for it, she wont confide these incidents to me any more. She is suspicious of everyone, she will think I am trying to take away her freedoms. If I just monitor her, she could possibly hurt herself.

I would like to talk to my grandmother (her mom) about it since they live a few miles apart, but she is 94 (going on 64)and I dont want to put stress on her or worry her. I did say to her a few months ago that mom is getting so forgetful and she agreed, but I dont want her to be burdened with it either cause my mom can be pretty mean and nasty when she wants to be and my grandmother is a tenderheart.

Sounds nutty, but I am putting the question out to the universe tonight to guide me to the right path.

Not nutty at all! I'm sure you will get your answer too!
Big hugs for you Flava! That is a tough spot to be in!

Thanks Mama.

Made more soap yesterday with my soap buddy! We made more salt bars and these smell great too. They are rainforest and I put deep green and brown in them. They smell very walk in the woods earthy, she hates the smell, the kids and I think its the best one of the day, and we made another one that was pink, purple and yellow and scented it with something she brought, she loves it and I think it smells like gas station bathroom! It is such a sickeningly sweet floral fragrance like when they have to much in those tiny bathrooms and you have to hold your breath and pee fast! I hope the scent in that diminishes ALOT, otherwise, she can have the whole batch! Its just gross.

Funny how different people smell different stuff.

In addition to all thats going on, the rain we have been having AGAIN is just destroying my garden. Everything is getting so yellow, fruit dropping, an all around mess! The pigs are loving it, they are getting lots of veggies! They got my entire supply of corn yesterday, we pulled it all. The weather just totally ruined it.

On a good note, the loofah sponges are growing like weeds, one of them is almost 2 ft long! Now thats a loofah!
