Aw, he's in a small shop. Even still, Jan. is awfully early for Christmas leave.
Quoting: Texan Buckeye I thought so too. He is at the Global Strike Command Center for the United States, but the base size is really pretty small. 8,000 people work on the base. I thought they would have more back up people. Guess not...He will be putting in a request for next year right away. Hope they stay there long enough for it to go through! We were going to go there for Thanksgiving, but changed our plans since they put in for Christmas leave. Now I'm trying to find decent airfare to Kansas City for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's about $2200 for 3 people right now. That explains it. KC isn't a large airport either. It's alot of money, but it's probably the best you're going to find. At least it's cheaper than trying to drive. Not helping, am I? Sorry. I live in Medford, Oregon. The airport is tiny. Everything seems to cost more when you are flying from here. We really want to go out there in May, they have a huge airshow and the airfare is only $575 per person at that time.
