Guys, I don't want to make a big deal about this, but I'm sure this is our girl!! I can't get just my post to copy, so look towards the top/middle for my first post. In the quote box is a post from Middle of the mitten. Read that. Do you think the same thing I do? I sure do think it's her! I'm SO glad she's ok!

I don't know why she's posting under a different # and as an AC, but I'm just glad to get some news.

Hope everyone that's in the storm area is safe. Love you all.grouphug

Could be. I would like to think so. Its no fun not knowing. For that matter we could have all met and not know it, except for TB and Nines.

Hope you all stay safe and out of harms way. Its in the 40's here tonight which is quite cool for this early in the season.

I did my show this weekend, did great on the gaia stuff and not so great on the soap. There were tons of other soap people but nobody else with creams and lotions.

Have back to back shows the next three weekends. Its getting crazy!

Your probably right. We didnt get it bad here, just a windy day and rain bands all night. It was raining sideways, but we have had worse rainstorms than what we got. It just came with cold weather so that was a little freaky for us.

I hope I dont get called up for duty on this one, I am not registered past NC so I hope I dont. I have all these shows and I hate the cold!

I am an insurance adjuster for catastrophic claims, not day to day claims, so work is sporatic, but right now I just dont want any more work. Gotta go to bed, will check in with you later.

I have been working on that damn website all night and I HATE doing that kind of stuff, its right up there with cleaning toilets.

take a look at the site and give me comments, critisism (sp)?? or whatever. its gaianaturalsskincare with the www before it and the .com after.

Off to sleep in a few. I checked it out, Flav. I love it!! Very professional looking, now to just get google to drop the "?". Is that 'cause you're working on it or because it's new? I'll be sending you a message soon. We have to get a new washer this week, first. Mine just decided to leak everywhere yesterday and we have NO clue why. Hubs tore it apart, but we couldn't find anything wrong. It's at least 12 years old, so I guess it's time. Just really didn't want to replace it yet. Besides, you all know, if you get one, the other one wants to retire, too!! We just don't want the frig to find out how old it is!LOL A LOT older and the one I want won't fit in the space it would have to go in!

Nine's, I hope you're ok up there. I've been watching the weather. At least, you're not on the coast. I hope the wind isn't too bad for you. It's snowing tonight in Toledo. Did you get any? Stay warm and dry, don't let Dudely get too comfy in the attic!

I think the ? is because I am still working on it, and I have a computer guy putting out spiders and he said it takes up to 2 months for them to register.

I just had an issue with my dryer, and got a new washer in Jan. Mine were 10 but we use them like a hotel around here, theres always someone doing laundry

Hi everyone! I just got off the phone with mom, they made it through ok. It seems the worst of the wind was just east of them. That area had some, almost, 80MPH winds. Every school in the county is closed today, except MY little town's! I guess the GLP effect works long distance, too!LOL Dad goes to the hospital Wed. for an angiogram and they're going to put stints in both legs, too. He and I talked about it when I was home, but mom and dad didn't know they were going to do it on Wed. until today. The doctor's office called with a time change and that's when dad found out. I hope it works for him. He really hates not being able to get around.

Nine's, I got your e-mails. Thanks. I don't know what to say about your kitteh. If he's just hanging on between feedings/treatments, maybe it is time. Kit will let you know. You'll know when you can't do it anymore, too. That kind of treatment is too hard for one person to do alone for a long period of time. Don't wear yourself out.hugs for you.

After all the doom, lately, I better get off of here and get something done today!LOL I'll try to catch up with everyone later.grouphug

I have managed to keep my little Meyer Lemon tree alive and the fruit is starting to turn yellow! I am so proud of myself for not killing it with our Oregon climate.

You lucky girl! Those are my favorite. I use them all year. My tree at my old house produces hundreds. I use them in tea all year long and when they start to go bad on the tree, or before actually, I pull them and squeeze the juice and freeze it in ice cube trays then put them into a baggie in the freezer. Each cube is about an oz. In Fla they dont start to go bad till about mid april

This is my first try with the lemon. I have 8 lemons that are turning yellow now. Poor little tree has a hard time holding the weight (the grower said it was 4 years old). I am from Southern California originally and my grandparents had all the citrus fruits, avocados, and figs in their yard. It was such a happy place! I have to bring my plant inside for winter and it will only get about 6 feet tall when it's full grown. I'm hoping to have a greenhouse set up by that time. Good idea for freezing the juice. For now, I will be happy to have the 8 little ones for cooking and adding to my beer!

Aw sweetie, I'm so sorry. I would've fallen apart too. How's your dad? I'm afraid to ask that one, I hope it doesn't cause more pain.

We're holding our own down here. Poor hubs has had employee trouble all year. People just don't want to work.

Dad isn't doing well. He was to have stints put in last week in his legs and they found almost total blockage and calcification of his arteries. He has almost no circulation in both legs and can barely walk. All this really got worse after I left them in the beginning of the summer. Mom had her hip replaced last spring. I was up there for several months to take care of them. She's slipping a little since her surgery, too.

The rest of us are well. I'm going to be a grandma again! My oldest son and dil are going to have a ? in April. We find out boy/girl next week. My granddaughter, the amazing Em, is the cutest little stinker on the planet!! LOL

Youngest son transferred to his 4 year school this past fall, so we have an empty nest. I'm pretty sure I don't like it. I miss my kids so much. None of them are close, but they aren't more than 6 hours away.

Buddy came back and decided home isn't so bad after all! He takes walks down the road and chases our neighbor's boyfriend's car, but otherwise he's back to normal.

I guess that's the highlights for now!LOL Another novel in the making, huh!?!

Thanks, T. I am, but there's not much I can do right now. I told mom I could come back up, but she said no. What is even worse, my favorite aunt has been battling cancer for several years. She found out the same week that she has a couple of tumors in her brain. She says she's ready. My uncle passed away a few years ago from cancer. It's so hard to deal with, because she was so bouncy and happy when I was home. I'm so glad I found time to hang out with her and some of her friends. They play dominoes and they are sharks!! I did win a couple of times, though!

sounds like we are all dealing with loss and the pain that brings. TB, i am sorry for all you have on your plate right now. mom and dad not doing well, kids gone, fav aunt ill also. damn, that's a sad sandwich for sure.

at least buddy came home. i was worried about him.

my dad has moved to oklahoma, near my youngest sister.

the day after my mom passed, my dad went all kinds of crazy, wanting to know where all the money was. how much money did he have? i did not handle that well. my sister came up and handled my dad. i moved full time to the farm. i like it here. i want my mom though, all the time. i am getting so i can go for hours now and not think about it. i call that progress.

i hope you don't guilt yourself over what you can and cannot do for your family. you have done a great deal and i know how much you value your family. they know that too.

I'm ok, most of the time. Really. Those two are super stubborn and ALL the rest of my family is up there, so it's not like they're all on their own.

I'm afraid of a similar scene playing out in my family, like yours. If mom would go first, big bro couldn't handle my dad. He wouldn't want to move down here, but he'd have to. He would be totally lost without mom. If dad goes first, mom wouldn't leave Ohio. Everything is there for her. All of her friends that are still alive and the little bit of family that's her age. I thought it was too hard when my grandma died, but I never dreamed watching my parents get old would be so hard.

I hope you've found some peace, TG. I takes forever, I know. I was so hoping you would come back on while I was up there. I met Nine's! It took me forever to get together with her and it was too short of a time, but I hoped we could've made it a threesome! Good thing the perv's aren't on this thread!LOL
