Yes Nines, I did know that part. I know some people use the yellow but I have heard its not nearly as effective, so I am looking for the orange.

One place sells seeds for 1 dollar each, geez!

I heard if you grab the seed pod and enclose your hand around it as you pick it, the seeds explode into your hand and not all over the ground.

HELLLOOOOOO MAMA!!!

Everything is dead and gone out there for the winter! I know I have it out there during the summer months!

Sorry Flav! Now I know to dry some out for you next year!

You're so good, Mama. Keep some of it for yourself, cuz there's going to be poison ivy near. flwrfrnd

That's how I knew I must have some... we have lots of poison ivy!! LOL!
 Quoting: MamaHasAwakened

That explains why I did not have any luck looking out here, we don't have poison ivy. We get poison oak instead. The seeds popping out reminds me of our poppy plants, you have to catch them in a bag or they just burst and you have no seeds.

LOL. It's not ALL ways true, but usually. It's nice when the cure grows by a problem though. 8)

Was going to answer as soon as you posted, but I got a pop up that my virus protection was turned off and I should turn it on. So I go to turn it on and it said I couldn't because it needed to be renewed.

Didn't sound right, but oh well, so I went through the renewal process, tried to activate with the numbers and they weren't valid or something. So I called customer service who said they were, and I should log in and do it. But it wouldn't let me log in. SO she said to talk to tech support. They're open 9 to 5. ARRRRRG.

So I called my son who asked what error code and I told him and he said reboot the computer. So I did and my virus protection emblem popped up and said I had 151 days left. I didn't even NEED to renew.

Was talking so nasty to this computer that pupster came cocking his head staring at the computer, wondering why I was so mad, until he started growling, ready to defend me from it. Don't think he's seen me that mad and it disturbed him. Or maybe it was because he heard words he hadn't heard before. LOL.

So, I called customer service and spent another 35 minutes. She was a nationality that was hard to understand and she said she'd cancel the order, but would I agree to......and I couldn't understand her. FInally, I told her I'm sorry, I have to have an english speaking person or have her email me the question. She emailed. Her email was no clearer than our phone conversation but I think she was asking me to agree not to use the code I got on this computer or another one. I told her as soon as my money was back in the bank, I would cheerfully never download anything that pops up and tells me I need to renew when I don't. Whew.

So that's why I didn't answer fast. Knew you'd want all that info.

It's absurd what they're asking for them. Think it's because people are wanting them for some reason. Maybe they read the cancer research and wanted to lay some in just in case. LOL.

Ebay had some but they didn't list the botanical name and it would be real frustrating to plant and wait and have the wrong thing. Amazon had some and it was shockingly high. I forget, something like 3 seeds for 8.00? Probably wrong, but it was hideous.

Did find this though. Haven't checked shipping or other details, but it doesn't look bad from what I skimmed:

That link above this post looks suspicious doesn't it? Nothing said about it, and has download in it? Hmmm. Maybe TG will pop in and see if she wants to leave it or not, or maybe the person will come back and say what it is.

Anyway, Flav, sorry the other place didn't have any. You'd think it would say out of stock instead of leaving a place for you to add it to the cart. This place let me add it to the cart. Hope they aren't out. 8(

thanks Nines.

I agree the above poster just popping in for a link??

Did I tell you, Pinky now has a girlfriend named Delilah. I dont think thats how you spell it but thats the best I can do.

She is small, just about 40 lbs, but they are cute together.

The first night he was crazy horny for her so we put her in the pen and left him out, the next morning he was in the pen too. Dont know how he did it the gate was still locked and nothing was dug up, do pigs climb chain link fencing???

Anyway, now she follows him around and when he comes over to us she stands with her hear damn near up his but and peeks out. She is afraid of us at this point but I am sure she will warm up to us.

She has big ears that are much more round than pinkys are and she is caramel and white colored. She looks more like a cow than a pig from everywhere but her snout.

Thank you for sharing! You made my day. Delilah and Pinky. That sounds so darn cute.

You must be so proud because you did a great job getting them together.

I wouldn't think a pig could climb a chain link fence, but he got there somehow and they both sound happy. Maybe Pinky believes in miracles and it manifest. LOL.

She sounds so cute in personality and pretty in appearance. It must be great fun to watch them.

About that link above about Khinsider, I googled "what is Khinsider" and at first it looked like a gen. discussion/topic site, but it's a game site of Kingdom of Hearts.

They download things there and someone asking about the site asked if they were legal and the person told them no.

The poster has been here less than a month and has 4 posts I think it was. Every post they made has that link on it.

Maybe it's harmless, and maybe this you tube isn't even true, but fwiw for anyone interested:

Thanks Nines. I wouldnt download music anyway, but good to know.

Yes, they are cute and happy, and if you saw where she came from, she must feel like shes in a mansion! There were 4 larger than pinky pigs of aprox 250lbs and her and another small one all in a 10x10 pen! No pool, no water spicket that I could see and no hay.

Now she has a 12x20 with the pool and spicket, but she doesnt seem to know how to use the spicket and hasnt gotten in the pool yet. Pinky has tried to show her cause she is dirty, but she seems afraid of it.

We had a huge roll of hay delivered today and I had Pete make an area in the covered part of the pen into a nice little bedding area for them so they dont get cold. He put tarp on the outside of the fence, then put hay inside the fence and put some wire fencing to hold it in place, so now they have a three sided insulated area and the forth side has just the tarp on the outside of the fence, its about three feet out from the U shaped bedding area.

I think that should be fine for our winters here, they can use it or sleep out in the open part of the pen on hay or dirt.

We let them roam the pasture while he was doing the work and Delilah just followed Pinky, didnt try to dig out or anything, so I am not so worried about her getting out.

She is also loving the day old produce that my son brings home from the grocery store every few days.

We had about 9 volunteer tomatoe plants growing in the pen and now there is one left, she has been eating them. Apparently Pinky considered that too much work when we just hand him ripe tomatoes, but she ate the bush with green tomatoes on it. Pete dug up the cantaloupe bushes a few months ago and replanted them in our yard, so apparently the pig pen is the new "plant nursery", growing stuff from seeds that the pigs missed! I think I also HAD potatoes growing in there, but the bush is gone and the dirt rooted up, so I think we missed out on that.

Maybe once we open the gate she wont go in there except to eat, and she will graze like Pinky, and we will have our veggie starter patch back.

Awwww, she's probably the happiest pig around. How sad it sounds where she came from. It makes me soooo happy you got her. I hope her little mate gets an equally good home. It sounds downright dangerous. If I were there, that little one in with the big ones would be coming home with me, but like you, wouldn't want her lonesome and there'd be another one and even less would get done around here. LOL.

Her living conditions sound so wonderful now, and it touched me so much that you provide such good care. Even a pool and nice bedding and shelter. She's a very lucky pig.

You are also fortunate to have Pete. What a guy to build that shelter. I remember when his back was hurt and how you cared for him, and hearing this, makes it extra special knowing how you guys care for each other....and the critters....and the kids. Not in that order. LOL.

That's the nicest thing about your son bringing home the treats for them. They must really look forward to seeing his car pull in...if they can see it. LOL.

Bet Delilah had never sampled anything outside her crowded little pen before she came to you. No wonder she's sampling everything. What an adventure for her.

Sometime when you get a chance, listen to the song Delilah by Plain White T's on you tube. It's been on my mind since hearing your piggy's name. So many of the words remind me of your Delilah. Wish I could see your pretty pigs, but until then:

Is that the song about her going to NYC??? At this point I try not to stray on my computer since its such a POS! (peice of shit)

I have more excellent news, after doing all these shows over the past two months, I got 3 different orders from people who bought stuff at the shows wanting more for themselves and Christmas gifts, so on Monday I spent the day making up products to send out, it was exciting for me that over two days I got over 300 dollars worth of orders from strangers. It makes me feel really good that they liked my products enough to reorder and buy for others.

How awesome for you! You must be so proud and happy. What a wonderful job you've done. You have excellent products so it was obvious from early on that you were going to be kept busy.

So glad for your success and hope you don't wear yourself out doing it. Having something you enjoy makes things easier though, doesn't it? It's obvious from the quality that you enjoy it.

Yes, that song is probably the same one. I'd post it for you, but if your computer is being bad, it's probably better to wait.

Geez. Thought I got up early. You beat me! It was a late night. That's my excuse. LOL.

Thanks for letting us know Flav. Had a great day hearing about the piggies, now another great one hearing this. Have a great one yourself.

Gotta get moving and try to catch up to you. wakkawak

We arent doing anything this year at the house since were going to the cabin for Christmas, I think thats part of the problem too. Not to mention Jake the dog dribbling pee every 15 mins, Its getting to me big time.

I am such a fanatic and between the dog being sick and "leaking" and doing all those shows and stuff the house has been let go. Nobody else would ever notice, but I do. My grout needs some serious scrubbing and I just dont have the energy.

I think its also that we have been in this house for 10 yrs and we have not had to paint or do anything interior, but this year the baseboards are showing the need for paint, and the doors too. They are at that point when they dont want to wipe clean anymore.

Personally I think thats a great track record of not painting being that we have 4 teenager/young adults all of that time living here, as well as all the friends too.

Tis the season. Things be gray and gloomy today, like so much of winter. In the 40's but feels nasty. LOL. Can't complain at all though, for this time of year.

Looks like you're going to have some excitement. Worst thing about driving in nasty ol' snow is watching out for everyone else. It would be a nightmare watching out in a place everyone else isn't used to it. Stay safe!

Hey, Mama! I've been missing everyone lately! We had to work our little town's Christmas parade last night. It was so warm, we didn't need coats until it was all over! Today and tomorrow, the temps. are going to drop a good 30 degrees and a chance of snow! A little, bitty chance, but I'll take it!LOL
