I know most of us have pets, so I'm linking this thread here, too. It may not be up later, when the rest of you get on.

Thread: Dog Owners: Purina Beneful Varieties May be Lethal! It's Happening Again!

I lost 2 dogs the last time. It happened VERY quickly. There was NO time to get them to the vet's.

We tried to feed our dogs Beneful when it came out and they wouldn't touch it. I'm worried about it spreading to the other brands again. We won't find out, though, until the pets start dying again.verysad
