Very thoughtful of you TB. Thank you for thinking of others.  We tried to feed our dogs Beneful when it came out and they wouldn't touch it. I'm worried about it spreading to the other brands again. We won't find out, though, until the pets start dying again.  I know what you mean. It's hard to know what to do. I checked recalls, ingredients, etc. and decided on Fresh Pet and my home made food that uses grass fed organic beef and buffalo, my own eggs, along with some Blue Buffalo for dry kibble. It would make me sick to think I'd harmed my dog with bad food. Until we have an at home laboratory though, guess there's a risk with anything. 8(
