I know it's big, but a lot of bridges are made into geomagnetic anomalies such as earthquake lights which can be both emitted by tectonic and/or core gyromag and induced from above by HAARP-like EMF weaponry. And the direction into something more akin to lightening opens some pretty wicked space-based weapons possibilities if that sort of field line connection can be made with orbital electronics.
