Hmmmmmmmmmmmm User ID: 1520501 United States 08/28/2011 06:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | growing up in the midwest, I have seen this weird yellow sky just before or after huge thunderstorms.... it's from dust I think that is sucked up in the storm, actually my grandma used to say that the yellow sky or green sky around a big storm indicated that a tornado or very strong updraft was in the storm and to take shelter. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "All those who wander are not lost" - J.R.R. If I can find them and figure out how to upload them I will. I live in Indiana, there were no storms and I believe it was during the late afternoon. Everything was yellow and all of our neighbors were outside doing the same thing we were...taking pictures. Never saw anything like it before and Im fairly old lol. |
