I haven't found many references for the astrological significance of Elenin, but here's one from last week:

"Comets are messengers from beyond our Solar System; archetypally, they are aliens, visitors from beyond our Solar System bringing new information. Comet Honda will be at its closest point to Earth on August 17. This time also beings a visit from Comet Elenin (link to NASA JPL) that will come close to the Earth (22 million miles) starting later in August. For 3 days starting on September 25, Comet Elenin will pass between the Sun and the Earth, possibly creating the prophesied Three Days of Darkness."

Where's your sources, OP? Did I miss a link or something or are you going by your intuition? (I got a lot of info about Chiron though mine, which seemed to pretty much match up with the "official" sources online.)

Also, where do the Hopi verify that these entities represent the blue & red star kachinas? It'd be cool if they were, however the Hopi are the authority on this.
