Dreaming is the same as thinking or using your imagination, but your unconscious so your subconscious is doing the thinking. That's why everything in a dream seems so random but somehow connected.

Your 2 eyes are using sunlight during the day for the object/observer function, so what is the light source when your eyes are shut? That's the million dollar question.
