What kind of logic is to say George Bush is a better (1)PRESIDENT because the (2)current president can't speak without a teleprompter?

1) So presidents are judged on their success now by whether they can speak with a teleprompter? It doesn't matter whatsoever that they could have waged full-on War with multiple countries, or that they signed either certain prospective or detrimental bills into law that affect our country? So you're saying the status of a president can only be positively viewed, if that president can speak without a teleprompter?

2) And to reinforce your argument you bring up an entirely different person, NOT based on their differing policies or what they've done to better or worsen this nation, but on the basis that one can supposedly speak with a teleprompter and one can not.

IS THIS YOUR ARGUMENT? If it's not please let me in on what I'm clearly not understanding. Btw, I think YOU need to lay off the koolaid, buddy.

All during the Bush presidency this was something I tried to point out to people who called him dumb, stupid, and idiot etc.

All one had to do was go look on youtube at videos of him speaking while Governor. The man could speak extemporaneously without teleprompters or even notes in front of him.

It is 100% my beief that he assumed a ROLE or a Caricature of a dumb Texas 'redneck' in order for people to accept the awful shit he did as POTUS, because it's hard to get mad at the village idiot.

If people recognized his intelligence, then they would have had to accepted the reality that he was fully aware of the bad shit he was doing, and would have had to hold him and themselves responsible either by participating in his 'winning' (cough) the White House or in their apathy of allowing him to remain in spite of all he was up to.
