Muse at reading festival
I have just got back from reading festival and head lining was muse.
The show was excellent and it was everything id hoped and more.
I knew some of there songs were all about the kind of thing we read on here, poisoned food, illumaniti etc. While watching muse it was so obvious that they are trying to send us a real clear message. the back ground videos while they were performing were all abt conspiracy. mk ultra was high lighted but the bit they really freaked me out was the opening. it was a video which looked to be like an alien invasion and then a bit later on there were vids of aliens all walking about on earth as if they were residents here.
Any way im gonna try find there show on web and post a link. i just had to share wot i had seen because muse are obviously in to this thing and prob read godlike. The song that they finished with was knights of cydonia. To me, if playing this song as a finish wasnt trying to tell us something along with all the vids and other songs then i dont know what is.
Muse were mind blowing and i would love to have a chat with em and see what there reasons for the shows abt.

You are failing to recognize one simple thing.. it is a show, and they are there to make money. Just because their stuff is conpsiracy themed doesn't mean they haven't sold out.

Why do you think they are allowd to perform in the first place? It keeps people trapped and caring about all this conspiracy crap instead of just turning away and living their own life!

I have to disagree with you.. Yes, 99% of the bands that are in the mainstream (with alternative themes or not) are there for the money.

I'm not saying that Muse is part of the 1% that thinks money isn't the big deal for their art, but you can't denied that is a few artists (in television, cinema, games, music, etc) that are worry to warn people about the shits around the word...

You don't understand the point i made. It isn't just about the money. It is the fact that these bands are just another distraction, another tool to keep you hooked in the grand illusion.

Tell me, how exactly does Muse, RAGE, or any other "freedom band" (for lack of better term) help you, really? All it does is keep you focused and angry on the system. If they can not control you like the other 99% of bands do, then they have the 1% bands there ready to grab your attention and prevent you from.. JUST WALKING AWAY AND LIVING YOUR OWN LIFE. Get it??

i disagree again. if people arent in the know and they watch muse and get a bit curious and look in to there message then maybe thay can avoid and be aware of the shit thats being fed to us etc. surely to be aware of the enemy is better than to not know. only then can u make an informed decision on how to live ur life.

Oh the irony.. see you probably would consider yourself an awake person, correct? Truth is, you aren't. You are no better off than the person who listens to Madonna, you are both equally enslaved to the illusion. The fact that you don't understand the point i made proves this. So what if you are aware of the poisons or the system? How does any of that make you better off.. it doesn't, you have merely substituted one concept structure for another, hence you are still as enslaved as the Madonna fan.

You don't make an informed decision through relative knowledge, you have to go beyond it. That is my point. Muse doesn't help you in that regard any more than Madonna does. BOTH keep you focused on the system, the establishment, the grand illusion.

If you spend your whole life trying to run from the system, then you are still a slave to that system. You are still not living. Do you get it?

They didn't call their album HAARP by accident.

I've seen the leader singer at shows wearing an infowars t-shirt and an investigate 9/11 shirt

I never said knowledge was a bad thing. But you are kidding yourself if you think being aware of the system makes you free from it.. try some introspection or meditation and you'll see just how deeply engrained you are in culture.

Just re-reading your initial post i'm laughing.. the fact you're looking into the meaning of their show and shit shows me that you are still very much enslaved to the system, hence my original point still stands; that these bands keep you hypnotized just the same as the Madonna bands, there is no difference.

Remove your attachment to the conspiracy stuff and you'll probably get very bored of Muse.. he sounds like a whiney bastard and all the songs follow the same musical forumla, really not that different than any other pop group. Sorry to burst your bubble..
