I went by the facts presented at the time. Think about it. My source was everyone's favorite sensationalist news entertainment agency ... FOX.

That said, it seems they have clarified things over the last three hours with subsequent articles. The article link you provided does say there is a strong possibility they may have to abandon the ISS if they cannot get the Soyuz manned spacecraft up and running by end of year. That means there is still some merit to the subject. I'll edit the subject to say "possibly."

That said, I agree. This thread has served its purpose in raising awareness and can be unpinned now.
