In a nutshell; Our solar system is travelling into a '20 year big' plasma cloud of energetic helium/hydrogen plasma at 6000C temperatures. The plasma is electrically conductive and could facilitate some hum-dingers of CME's(sun to earth?). The cloud was discovered by accident from a couple of far earth IBEX satellites looking for something else. We are in it now, it's compressed the heliosphere a great percentage already to 4AU and we're just in the outskirts of it. Also, if Heliosphere shrinks so does our magnetosphere. Allowing for more Cosmic Rays to penetrate to ground level. EMP effects would knock out power grids world wide. No electricity for years to come. Ice age would be the end results, especially with prolonged Solar Minimum by this Ribbon. These are crazy times were in folks. That would also stop nuclear attacks. It might even cause ignition of some older armed missiles.
