OP, I have thought about this myself and tend to agree.
Life on another planet would have evolved in a manner of natural selection and competition like we did. Further, if you look at nature, animals that are preditors or hunters are usually the smartest ones. Wolves vs Sheep, Lions Vs Zebras, ect....
Therefore, intelligent life would most likly have at least evolved as a hunter and would have perfected warfare. The idea of happy aliens showing up to hug us is stupid. The most likely would come for the reason humans invade a new land, resources.

I don't think your theory is totally off base though. imho, there is a strong correlation between increased UFO sightings/activity and increased earth changes/climate change if true, this begs the question : are they monitoring, causing or fixing the situation? Im betting on causing as they probably terraformed the earth in the 1st place remember they are probably advanced by millions of years I've always theorized that we were an alien ant farm.
